Awaji Hana Hotel

We stayed on a Plan with meals included. The Hotel seemed to have been renovated, and it was clean and very nice. The Room was spacious and bright, so we could relax and take it easy. The Awaji beef tasting course was generous in portion and absolutely delicious. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations—we couldn’t believe it was available at this price. Breakfast also satisfied us in both presentation and taste, with a variety of side dishes served in small portions. This time we stayed for one night on our way to Kochi, but we’d like to visit Awaji Island again at a more leisurely pace.

We had the three-year fugu course and it was delicious. We tried the same course at another Hotel this season, but it cost more than 1.5 times as much and the quality was less than one-tenth, so we were not satisfied at all—coming back to this Hotel for a retry was absolutely the right choice. The Awaji beef steak was also excellent. We didn’t use the bath because we went to a nearby Onsen. I made a Reservation without realizing it was a Business Hotel, and when I first saw the exterior I wondered if I’d made a mistake. However, the corridors, dining area, and Room were all very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The foreign staff were also polite and helpful, and overall it felt like a very good Facility.
