Yura Onsen Yaotome

The view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the sound of the waves at night was incredibly soothing. I was surprised by the generous portion of the breakfast tray, but it left me full and satisfied! The buffet on the second morning was also very delicious. Above all, it was so memorable that the hostess greeted and saw us off with a warm smile. The staff's attentiveness was exceptional as well. Around the Hotel, there are many attractions such as an aquarium and breathtaking scenic spots that were truly relaxing to visit. The open-air bath with a view of the ocean was amazing, and perhaps because it's by the seaside, we could see about ten times more stars than usual in a beautiful night sky—it made for such a wonderful trip. Thank you!

The Onsen large bath was excellent. The water was gentle, and the temperature was just right. While not particularly spacious, there are two locations, so it felt uncrowded. It was a relaxing bath where you could stretch out your arms and legs.The meals were all delicately flavored and delicious. If I may say, focusing on tuna sashimi and sushi might not have been necessary; local sashimi would have been sufficient. The mochi at breakfast had a delightful rice flavor, which I enjoyed very much. In hindsight, I wish I had added it to the soup for a zoni-style dish. As for the typical sweets found in breakfast buffets—matcha roll cake and chocolate cake—I initially thought they would be ordinary but ended up enjoying them so much that I went back for seconds.All rooms are ocean-view with the sound of waves audible, ships visible on the distant horizon, and sunsets over Enoshima in Tohoku offering an incredible view (ideally). Unfortunately, clouds obstructed our view of the sunset this time. The East Wing seems to offer better views and rooms overall.However, it was disappointing that while there were towel racks near the toilet and sink for hand towels, no towels were provided for that purpose.Each wing (East Wing & West Wing) has one elevator each within the facility; however, there were no issues with congestion or waiting times—it worked very well.Both my spouse and I are smokers. We thought having all rooms as non-smoking might be stressful but found designated smoking areas in three convenient spots within the facility—exactly where you'd want them—which made our stay stress-free even as smokers who stayed multiple nights.One suggestion: having coffee available during our stay inside (especially upon arrival or before departure) would have made things even better!
