Hotel Route-Inn Shin-Shirakawa Ekihigashi

I had a comfortable stay with expectations fully met as a Business Hotel. What stood out the most was the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. They worked so well that after drying my hair, it became shiny and smooth, which amazed both me and my daughter who stayed with me. I noted down the brand name and ordered it after returning home. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the croissants, which were my favorite. One minor disappointment was that the bathroom faucet required separate adjustments for hot and cold water.

The front desk service is excellent. The breakfast is a typical hotel buffet but delicious. How old is the Facility? It feels slightly outdated in some areas. That aside, the men's public bath changing room was cold, and even the washing area felt chilly (December). I expected the bathwater to be hot, but while it wasn't lukewarm, it didn't warm my body thoroughly. Feeling cold immediately after getting out of the bath was disappointing. The public bath I had been looking forward to during winter at this Hotel turned out to be quite unsatisfactory.
