Nikko Grand Hotel Honokana Yado Jurin

It was my first stay in a while, and as expected from Yumoto Onsen, the bath was very satisfying. The room showed some signs of aging but was well-cleaned and comfortable. However, the frequent use of kerosene fan heaters in the rooms and hallways caused a slight odor concern. On the day of our stay, there was a cold wave with snowy weather, so we used the fan heater as the oil heater in the room alone couldn't raise the temperature sufficiently. However, there were no notices or reminders about ventilation such as using exhaust fans, which made me feel slightly uneasy. The meals and staff service were excellent. In addition, our car had been cleared of snow by morning. I would like to stay here again if I have another opportunity!

1. Accommodation with a bedroom, as my wife has knee problems. 2. Moderate meal portions are preferred due to our age. 3. Reasonable accommodation rates are important. The result exceeded expectations in terms of the quality, quantity, and variety of both breakfast and dinner. In addition to the basic dishes served at the table, there were buffet-style side dishes that went beyond imagination. Of course, the Onsen was excellent as well. The staff were polite and left a great impression on us. We would love to stay here again!
