SAKE Kura Hotel Kawasaki Inn

A wonderful room and delicious drinks. We visited Kawasaki for our first grandchild's half-birthday and stayed at the property. Traveling with children limits the places you can visit and relax, so we contacted the property in advance with a request to invite four people, including our grandchild, as guests into the room. They kindly agreed, allowing us to spend a relaxing time. The room wear, resembling a samue, and the zori had a traditional feel, and I enjoyed delicious drinks in the lounge in that attire, which also helped me relieve my daily fatigue. It was a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful time enjoying delicious Japanese sake in a clean and comfortable Room! In addition to 10 types of sake, beer, plum wine, juice, tea, and coffee are available for unlimited drinks 24 hours a day. Light snacks like oden and kaki-pi are all-you-can-eat until around 11 PM. We also appreciated being able to bring food and drinks back to the Room. Buying sashimi from the supermarket to enjoy with our drinks made it perfect! The oden seasoning was a bit light; it would be better if it were slightly stronger to pair well with the sake. The Room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious, which we loved. However, having indoor slippers and a humidifier would have been nice. Even with the provided tabi socks during winter, the flooring felt cold underfoot. The air was also quite dry. We were looking forward to breakfast onigiri but found them different from what we imagined—they seemed like rice mixed with store-bought seasoning rather than filled rice balls wrapped in seaweed as expected. The miso soup being retort-packaged was also slightly disappointing. Other than that, everything else was great! The staff were friendly and made our stay very satisfying!
