  A safe and unforgettable escape from the everyday

  An amazing location surrounded by breathtaking nature. In the morning, we took a walk with the kids through the great outdoors, spotting animal tracks and even wild squirrels and deer. It was a magnificent experience you can’t get in everyday life. What makes SANU special is being able to enjoy it all with peace of mind. From helpful communication before our Reservation to well-maintained Facilities and equipment, plus advance information about the surrounding area, there’s plenty of support to help you stay comfortably. Our whole family was able to enjoy this extraordinary experience with confidence.

  It was clean, and the location was excellent.

  This was my first stay at SANU. The high ceilings, spotless cleanliness, and modern wood design truly delighted me. This time I stayed without renting a car; aside from the 30-minute walk each way to the convenience store, there were no particular inconveniences, and I had a full day enjoying myself at a sauna facility within walking distance.

  Winter at Lake Yamanaka

  Although the weather wasn’t great, we were very satisfied with the Facility itself and were able to relax a lot. All the various amenities were thoughtfully provided, and there was nothing we felt was missing. It’s a Facility we’d love to visit again. Next time, we’d like to stay when it’s warmer and enjoy BBQ as well.

  Surrounded by nature with easy access to Lake Yamanaka.

  The room’s design was excellent. The bathtub was spacious, so I could soak and relax comfortably. The kitchen was also very user-friendly. There was a projector, but it wasn’t charged, so I ended up not using it. I also felt the bathroom vanity area could be a bit brighter for easier use. While relaxing on the sofa and enjoying the view outside, the neighboring family’s children came over to peek in several times, which felt awkward. I don’t necessarily want the outdoor area to be partitioned off, but I wish there had been some kind of notice or signage. When we had a campfire as well, the neighboring family was very loud, and all I could do was give an awkward smile—it wasn’t a situation where the sound of the fire could be soothing at all. Other than that, we were generally satisfied. Thank you very much.

  Thank you very much for staying at SANU 2nd Home Yamanakako 1st. We are delighted to hear that you were satisfied with the design, the bathtub, and the kitchen equipped with cooking utensils. On the other hand, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the projector running out of charge, the bathroom lighting, and concerns about proximity to neighboring units. Regarding the projector, it can be used while charging, so we would appreciate it if you could use the power outlet under the sofa. In addition, to help all guests enjoy a comfortable stay, we have created house rules guidance and placed it in every Room. We will continue working on improvements to provide an even better stay experience. We truly look forward to welcoming you again at your second home.
