ResortVilla-KAPUKA Sesoko Island

Stayed on a very windy day in early March.At check-in, a staff member came over and helped us unlock the door. It probably would have taken me a while on my own, so it was a big help—thank you.When we entered the Room, the living area was spacious but felt a bit cluttered with various items.The upstairs bedroom was roomy and neat.The outdoor area leading to the pool is also wide, with a great view—once it gets warmer, it must be amazing!While I was sitting and having a beer, I heard a cat meowing from somewhere… and there was an adorable black cat.On our stay, only the time right after check-in was warm. My husband managed to enjoy the jacuzzi with a beer, but it suddenly got cold from late afternoon and I couldn’t use it this time, which was disappointing.Also, the jacuzzi is quite high off the ground, so getting in and out looked risky for my chubby husband (lol).There were lots of BALMUDA appliances around the kitchen!When I opened the cabinet above, I could see what looked like a hot plate I’d been wanting, but it was too heavy to take down…If I’d known it was there, I would’ve bought some meat and tried using it.I tried using the vacuum cleaner for fun since it was my first time (lol).Overall there were lots of gadget-like features that men might like. The toilet where buttons automatically pop out surprised me—but then things like the toilet paper felt cheap.The bathroom has clawfoot-style tub vibes, but there were no bath salts (common at Okinawa Hotels), and the showerhead was just standard—overall it felt like choices made by a man.For everyone’s favorite hair dryer check: at first glance I could see dust in the air intake holes so I didn’t touch it much; however, it seemed like a good one and there was also a small flat iron.Laundry detergent (no fabric softener) and sheet masks were well stocked. The hairbrush wasn’t one of those flimsy disposable Hotel ones—it was actually quite nice! My husband also said he liked how well the razor shaved.The slippers were that fluffy type you see more often these days; having them in bags with Hotel branding makes them easy to take home.And they even had lint rollers—something Hotels usually don’t provide! Such thoughtful attention to detail.(Sorry we left without using them because we couldn’t figure out how to peel them properly.)As is common with villas/Accommodations, bugs can be an issue—and this time we had scary wiggly ones… My husband (who grew up in rural areas) said they’re called millipedes; he took care of seven of them!We take two Okinawa vacations every year and my husband always wants at least one night in a villa. Among those stays, this Accommodation feels especially good value for money—so we’d love to return during pool season!

It was an amazing place. A location that makes you want to visit again.
