Sky Bath Mountain Lodge Hanayu

This was our second stay. Our previous visit was exactly a year ago. As mentioned in other Reviews, we did not have a particularly good impression then. So why did we return? Because the Onsen was wonderful, and we wanted to enjoy it again. Please forgive my bluntness, but we made our Reservation without expecting much hospitality and stayed anyway. However, this time exceeded our expectations—from the warm welcome on arrival to the staff’s attentive service and their thoughtful care during meals, for which we are truly grateful. The staff’s courteous hospitality—and perhaps it has always been this way—felt even more sincere than before. We could genuinely sense their desire to listen carefully to guests’ feedback. They even saw us off at the end of our stay, and we are thankful that it became such a pleasant anniversary for us. This has become an Accommodation that makes us want to return again. Thank you very much.

This was an Accommodation I had wanted to visit for a long time, so I was overjoyed when I was able to make a Reservation. When we arrived, it did feel like you were short-staffed, but the hospitality and care shown by everyone on the team were wonderful. The Onsen with mineral flakes drifting in the water was amazing—I've stayed at many Accommodations, but this was my first time experiencing anything like it, and I was truly impressed. Even though I usually don’t stay in the bath for long, I ended up soaking for quite a while and felt surprisingly fine.I was also surprised to find complimentary ice cream, juice, and tea set out in various places. Since it was a cold season, you prepared an adorable cat-shaped hot-water bottle for us, and we were able to sleep warmly with it. Next time, I’d love to stay in a different Room.
