We visited on a last-minute trip to Kagoshima.In a word,everything was wonderful!!In the Room, there were plenty of warm layers and blankets to help with the cold, and since the sea is right in front of you, marine shoes were also provided.For meals, we could choose between dining at the restaurant or having dinner served in our Room after we arrived.If there’s one thing that might be a matter of preference, it would be that the Onsen is quite unique, so opinions may vary.At dinner, we received a lovely surprise for our family anniversary—thank you so much!All of the dishes were delicious.Since we stayed on a Saturday, it was disappointing that breakfast didn’t include kibinago sashimi.Instead, they prepared a special soup for us. It was such a luxurious bowl—I felt incredibly lucky.Because it was a cold day, they gave us plenty of hand warmers.Even so, all the staff came out and waved until our car was out of sight.Thank you for all the comfort and relaxation from arrival to departure. Next time, I’d love to visit in a warmer season.

The ocean stretches out before your eyes, allowing you to fully enjoy the luxury of doing nothing while listening to the sound of the waves. The Room and amenities were perfectly balanced, reflecting the owner's excellent taste. The meals were delicious, with freshly caught silver-stripe round herring in the morning leaving a particularly strong impression—even I, who am not usually fond of fish, finished it all. What felt like an unprecedented luxury was being able to enjoy meals in pajamas instead of yukata in the Room. We are already talking about planning our next trip with VILLA Hikaruze as our main destination. Next time, we would love to have a Multiple Night Stay and try sea kayaking!
