    The Room and open-air bath are amazing!

    We enjoyed traveling with our family. All the Hotel staff were very polite and pleasant, which made us feel comfortable. The facilities and the Room were very clean, neat, and lovely. The open-air bath in the Room was truly amazing! The only disappointment was the food: even though there was already a large sashimi platter, a creative dish featuring raw salmon appeared later in the course. Everyone said we would have preferred something simple like a steamed or fried dish instead. Food preferences vary, so it’s difficult to please everyone. Thank you very much.

    The Finest Hospitality

    We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s retirement. This Accommodation was wonderful, just as the reviews said. The service, Facilities, meals, and Onsen were all top-class. My wife was very satisfied as well. We were able to spend a truly relaxing and soothing time. I sincerely thank all the staff members.

    Overall, it was a satisfying stay. The bath was clean and pleasant, and I was able to relax at my own pace. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were courteous, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The only disappointing point was that it rained on the day of departure, but no one offered any assistance or even a brief word. Since I didn’t have an umbrella, I had to pull up my hood and walk to the station, which felt a bit lonely. Even so, it is a very good Hotel overall, and I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    The staff were incredibly kind and made our stay very comfortable. Before check-in, they lent us towels and a basket to take to the baths at Dogo Onsen Honkan, provided detailed maps and recommendations for sightseeing spots and restaurants, and even offered to take photos for us. Everyone was wonderful, and this trip became a truly great memory. The large public Onsen bath is on the smaller side, but we rarely ran into other guests, and together with the open-air bath in our Room, we ended up soaking seven times. The book selection in the first-floor library is also excellent—there are lovely picture books and art books, making it a relaxing space. The meals featured mainly fish with a lineup that really let us experience Ehime, and everything was delicious. When we visit Dogo Onsen again, we would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

    It was wonderful.

    We stayed here on the last day of a trip to celebrate my older sister’s 70th birthday. There are many Accommodations in Dogo Onsen, and I’m glad we chose this one. The space from the front desk to the lounge is large and relaxing, and we enjoyed drinks there. After bathing, the lounge also had refreshing drinks and ice cream to cool down, so we were able to spend time there pleasantly. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and we couldn’t stroll around the Onsen town, but we still enjoyed ourselves 충분ly just within the property. The Room and the entire building were well cleaned, and everything felt very clean. The dining venue also had a wonderful atmosphere where adults can relax. The food was excellent in both taste and presentation, and we enjoyed it until the end. As for the baths, the large public bath is a bit small, with only four washing stations; when three were already in use by other guests, only one was available, so our group of three had to take turns before getting into the bath, which was inconvenient. However, the bath in our Room was always at just the right temperature at night or in the morning and was spacious enough for one person. All staff members—at reception as well as in dining—were professional, and we had a very comfortable stay. At check-out you even gave my sister a gift for her 70th birthday; thank you very much.

    This Accommodation offered outstanding hospitality.

    Above all, the staff’s attentiveness and service were truly outstanding. Our Room had an open-air bath, and we could enjoy the Onsen anytime, which was very relaxing. The meals were delicious, featuring delicate, beautifully presented dishes made with local specialties. The portions were a bit large for a couple in our 60s, but that also means they would be more than satisfying even for younger guests. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much for all your thoughtful hospitality.

    The food is absolutely delicious.

    Each dish was delicious, and I was very satisfied with both the quality and portion size. Breakfast was also excellent—I had three extra servings. They checked in advance about ingredients I don’t like, and I was happy with their thoughtful service. Perhaps because there is an in-Room bath, the scenic-view bath felt a bit small, and the open-air bath wasn’t really spacious enough to share with others, which was slightly disappointing. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would like to stay again.

    Thank you very much.

    My grandmother and aunt stayed for the third time. They were able to relax in both the Onsen and the Room, and felt refreshed. We stayed to celebrate my grandmother’s discharge from the hospital. Thank you for your thoughtful care. My aunt was also tired from caregiving, but said it lifted her spirits. We will stay again. Thank you again for everything this time as well.

    Absolutely wonderful.

    A Satisfying Accommodation

    We stayed here for our once-a-year trip as a couple. The bath and the Room were luxuriously designed, and we were able to relax and take our time. Breakfast featured many Ehime specialties, making it a truly indulgent trip that my wife also enjoyed. Thank you very much.

    I visited Dogo Onsen for the first time in a while. About 20 years ago, I don’t think Dogo Miyu was there yet, so I made a Reservation with a bit of a “let’s give it a try” mindset. The facilities were perfect—both the shared spaces and the Room were modern, spacious, and beautifully designed. The staff were all incredibly kind and attentive, and their warm hospitality truly made me feel welcomed. Above all, I was most impressed by the food. The main fish (flounder in a white miso sauce) and the meat dishes were delicious, but what moved me most was how every detail—from each small appetizer to dessert—was delicate and outstanding. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Usually there’s at least one appetizer I could have skipped, but not here. I’m no expert when it comes to cooking, but I could really feel the care put into each dish. I also love sake, and since you can order from 120 ml with an excellent selection available, I happily enjoyed five different kinds. Breakfast was just as wonderful—the food was superb, and the roasted green tea was delicious as well. There was even a tasting of different mandarin orange juices, which made the morning even more enjoyable. Thank you for such a wonderful memory. When I visit Dogo again, this will be my first choice without hesitation.

    Quiet and relaxing

    It was quiet with no children around, and there were no large groups, so we could relax at our own pace. The bath in the Room was very pleasant, and with the nice weather we could see Matsuyama Castle from the Room. We would like to stay again. The large public bath was empty and felt a little cold.

    We had the best vacation.

    I discovered “Dogo Miyu” on this website and made a Reservation because it was my first trip to Dogo Onsen and I wanted to stay at such a wonderful Accommodation. I arrived with high expectations, and everything exceeded them. The Facility design throughout the building was calm yet stylish, the breakfast was luxurious and delicious, and they even accommodated ingredients I don’t handle well. I also enjoyed seeing the different menus during our Multiple Night Stay, and learned a lot from the tableware designs and how they were used. The size of the in-room bath was just right, and soaking in the Onsen while looking out at Matsuyama Castle was incredible. Although many of the staff were young, their hospitality was outstanding, and we had a truly comfortable stay. With high-quality amenities, plenty of towels (including towels provided in the public bath), ice cream and drinks in the lounge, cushions in the tatami Room, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, a very comfortable bed and body pillow, a ReFa hair dryer, internet TV, Marshall speakers, a coffee machine, and more—thanks to these thoughtful touches we were able to relax comfortably for long stretches without leaving our Room while enjoying multiple Onsen baths. I’ll do my best so that I can stay again. (There was a gap under the door partition between the washing area and changing area; water from the shower splashed through and soaked the changing-room floor. For that reason I rated Facility as 4. If this happened due to how I used it, I apologize.)

    Matsuyama Castle was...

    Matsuyama Castle was visible from the Room balcony. The open-air bath in the Room was also very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, and I regretted not adding dinner as well.

    Quiet and relaxing

    It was my first Onsen visit in a while, and I was able to relax. Perhaps due to the timing, I didn’t encounter anyone inside the facility, and it was quiet with no noise from hallways or conversations, allowing me to enjoy a very peaceful stay.     I stayed alone at Dogo Miyu, and it was a very comfortable accommodation with a calm atmosphere. Even as a solo traveler, I never felt out of place, making it especially recommended for those who want to relax. The private open-air bath in the room was truly appreciated as I could use it anytime I wanted. I enjoyed Dogo's gentle hot spring water without worrying about others. Being alone allowed me to soak leisurely without any distractions, which felt like pure luxury. Breakfast featured menus centered around local ingredients and was visually appealing. The portion size was just right, and I could enjoy it comfortably even by myself. It provided great satisfaction to start the day. The staff's service left a positive impression; they treated solo guests with care and maintained an appropriate distance that felt comfortable. They were quick to assist whenever needed. The craft beer available within the facility was another delightful point. It was nice to relax in my room with a drink after bathing. The panoramic bath offered an open feeling where I could bathe while enjoying views of Dogo town. The changing atmosphere depending on the time of day left a lasting impression. This accommodation is perfect for solo travelers seeking peace and relaxation in a quiet environment.

    Stayed on New Year's...

    Stayed on New Year's Day with a no-dinner plan. Although it was fully booked, the accommodation had a calm and quiet atmosphere, creating a comfortable space. There were no close encounters with other guests in the elevator. The room's onsen open-air bath was very pleasant in the morning, and having a ReFa hairdryer was a nice touch. However, the public bath was smaller and colder than expected, and I questioned if it was really an onsen—this was quite disappointing (the hairdryer there was outdated). As an onsen accommodation, I wished they had put more effort into enhancing the public bath. Perhaps because many guests visit Dogo Onsen Honkan (public bath), less focus is placed on improving the public bath here. Breakfast was carefully prepared, visually appealing, and satisfying in taste.

    The miso soup at breakfast was truly delicious, and I had seconds! Unfortunately, I couldn't have dinner at the Hotel as my reservation was after all seats were fully booked. The location is convenient as it is close to other onsen spots.

    I had a very relaxing stay!

    Every corner of this hotel was delightful! The room was impeccably clean, allowing us to relax completely without any worries. Since there are no children under 12 years old, the accommodation is very quiet, and even among adults, there were no disturbances, making it a comfortable stay. The meals were absolutely outstanding! Each dish was thoughtfully prepared with incredible attention to detail and tasted amazing beyond words. I usually take photos of the room and surroundings, but I was so relaxed that I forgot to do so this time! I will definitely return again! Thank you very much.

    I stayed with my daughter. The Facility was very clean, stylish, and elegant. When I visited to leave my carry-on luggage before check-in, the staff were very kind and even served us tea. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious. Our Room had an open-air bath where we could enjoy the sunset while bathing, which made us very happy. The Room was spacious, making one night feel too short to fully enjoy it. All the staff members were kind and courteous. I would love to stay here again!

    It was a wonderful experience.

    This was my first visit to Dogo Onsen, and staying at your accommodation was truly a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and relaxing, with luxurious furnishings that made it very comfortable. All the staff were kind and attentive, allowing me to enjoy a pleasant stay. I also had a peaceful and enjoyable time in the library on the first floor. The level of hospitality I experienced here reminded me of my stay at The Ritz-Carlton in Nikko. This is definitely a hotel I would love to stay at again.

    Everything is perfect.

    We stayed at the accommodation for our wedding anniversary. From the charming entrance, we were uplifted right from the start. The rare experience of being guided to our room and checking in there was handled with great care. The private open-air bath in the room was already filled with perfectly warm onsen water, and the room's interior was sophisticated and beautiful. You can even see Matsuyama Castle from the room. While the private open-air bath is more than enough, I highly recommend visiting the panoramic bath on the 8th floor—it’s truly amazing! The meals were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The overall atmosphere was quiet, allowing us to fully enjoy a relaxing time at our own pace. The hospitality was flawless and full of delightful surprises throughout our stay. Thank you so much for taking care of us! Having traveled to many places, this has become one of my favorite ryokans. I hope to visit again for our next anniversary...

    The hospitality, atmosphere, and view from the room were impeccable, but the room itself was particularly outstanding. It wasn't unnecessarily spacious, and everything from the bed and sofa to the private open-air Onsen in the room was perfectly designed in size and shape! The location is excellent as it's close to Dogo Onsen Arcade, yet quiet enough to relax when you're in the room.

    A serene and relaxing space for adults

    Recommended by a friend as the perfect Accommodation for a trip to Dogo, we stayed here and were thoroughly satisfied. For us, a couple in our 50s looking to enjoy quiet moments and locally-sourced meals, this was an ideal stay. The tasteful Japanese-style design created a serene atmosphere. The library offered a cozy space to enjoy coffee at leisure. We were delighted that all drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary. The Onsen on the top floor was exceptional, and even the bath in our Room used water from Dogo Onsen Honkan. I would also recommend "Dogo Miyu" to anyone planning a visit to Dogo!
