    It was a nice Hotel.

    It was very convenient for sightseeing, with easy access to Kyoto Station. We used the breakfast buffet, which offered carefully selected Kyoto-made jams and Japanese black tea, and every dish was delicious. They also had wine and sake. The showerhead was ReFa, and the hair dryer was a compact ReFa model. I would like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

    It was comfortable.

    The air conditioning worked well, and we couldn’t hear noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast restaurant was spacious with large windows, and the selection of dishes was reasonably good. If I had to mention something, I would have preferred a dedicated broth sauce for the soft-boiled eggs instead of soy sauce. Also, the rice porridge ran out and wasn’t refilled in time. Being close to the station and accessible without getting wet in the rain is a big plus, so I’d like to stay again.

    Perfect Hotel for Kyoto Sightseeing.

    I chose this Hotel as a base for sightseeing in Nara and Kyoto. Since it is located in front of Kyoto Station, I left my luggage at the Hotel in the morning before check-in and went sightseeing. The Hotel staff were very helpful and even gave me advice on sightseeing. The Hotel is connected to Kyoto Station, shopping malls, and restaurant buildings via an underground passage, making it very convenient with access to JR trains, Kintetsu lines, subways, and buses. The staff also upgraded my Room, which made my stay very comfortable.

    I will visit again.

    Close to the station and very convenient. The breakfast had a wide variety, and you could even enjoy Japanese sake in the morning, so I’d like to stay again on a holiday next time. Even for a sudden stay, there’s no need to worry as the amenities are well-prepared. With restaurants, drugstores, and convenience stores nearby, it’s also great for a quick change of pace. The view from the Room was also excellent.

    Conveniently located near the station

    Located just south of JR Kyoto Station, it is extremely convenient for those planning to base their activities around the station. Despite being near the station, it is quiet at night with no city noise, allowing for a restful sleep.

    Delicious Breakfast

    The facility is not new, but it offers excellent access from Kyoto Station and has well-equipped amenities. I chose a plan with breakfast included, and the variety of dishes was impressive and very delicious. There were luxurious options such as sake, sushi, canapés, cheese, fruits like Shine Muscat grapes, and more. The drink selection was abundant, and the coffee was also delightful. Thank you for your hospitality. I look forward to visiting again to enjoy the delicious breakfast!

    Unfortunately

    I booked this Hotel on short notice with the condition of being near Kyoto Station, but upon opening the door, there was trash in front and issues with the water facilities. Even though it is old, it was clear that proper maintenance was lacking. Unfortunately, I will not be using this Hotel again.

    The foot relaxation sheet was amazing.

    The foot sheets were a delightful touch, especially after a long train journey. However, it would have been helpful if the early breakfast hours were mentioned during check-in. When I arrived at 7:00 AM, it was already crowded, and I felt rushed due to my tight schedule. The bathroom was slightly dim, which made it a bit challenging for me with my poor eyesight. That said, the location is very convenient—close to the private bus stop and Avanti for any quick purchases. Being connected to the station underground is also great for avoiding rain and wind!

    I regretted choosing...

    I regretted choosing this hotel. It is not worth the price. Furthermore, most of the guests are tourists from overseas, and some walk around the elevator and hallway in their sleepwear. I didn't know it was a Business Hotel.

    The quality of the H...

    The quality of the Hotel remains consistent. The coin laundry was very helpful, especially during the heatwave when frequent changes of clothes were necessary. Amenities are sufficient, but it would be nice to have a bit more water provided for coffee. For example, two paper packs or one bottle would be appreciated. I was surprised by the variety of food options in the basement of Avanti—it seems like there are more choices than before. This alone is quite satisfying!

    It was very comfortable.

    We may have been upgraded, but the Superior Class Room was very comfortable. There was also an exclusive lounge, and we could use the drink service at the back of the lobby before and after check-in/out, which made it convenient to adjust our schedule. During our stay in Kyoto, we mainly used the subway, so the location near Hachijo East Exit was very convenient. It would have been nice to have a comb (or brush) among the amenities. We would love to stay again!

    No particular issues.

    The bed was spacious and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth. It would have been nice to have at least a toothbrush in the Room. The bathroom was average. I didn't experience any particular inconveniences. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Despite its stylish name, it's just a Business Hotel.

    Despite its grand name "Grande," it is essentially a Business Hotel. The Room has poor soundproofing, making noises from adjacent rooms clearly audible. Sounds of flushing toilets, whether from the upper floor or next door, can also be heard. Alarm sounds from neighboring Rooms are noticeable as well, which can disrupt your sleep if your wake-up time differs. The lighting in the Room is oddly placed near the foot of the bed, making it inconvenient to operate. The bathroom is extremely small and not user-friendly, particularly with a tiny toilet and a stiff faucet on the sink. It seems like an old Hotel that has been renovated only in visually appealing areas for photos; however, plumbing issues cannot be easily disguised. The nearest convenience store closes at 11 PM, adding to its inconvenience. While the staff's hospitality is excellent and commendable, unfortunately, the facility itself leaves much to be desired.

    I rated the Property...

    I rated the Property with absolute evaluation stars, but in terms of value for the accommodation cost, it was perfect. It was a Plan for a great value stay on weekdays, and it truly was a great deal, which was quite surprising. The Room assigned to us was spacious and even included breakfast, and the quality of meals had improved compared to when I stayed before. This is a typical example of how dynamic pricing can sometimes offer such benefits.

    Close to the station!

    I always stay here whenever I visit Kyoto. Even on rainy days, you can reach it from Kyoto Station without getting wet, and the staff are very pleasant. There is a convenience store right at the hotel entrance, and there's also a Don Quijote in the building, making it very convenient! However, when staying quietly in the room, you can slightly hear murmurs from the next room... Well, since I only return to sleep, I'm satisfied with both the room size and price.

    It was comfortable.

    Conveniently located directly connected to Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit, making it easy to do anything. It was quiet and relaxing. Perhaps due to fewer inbound tourists during this period, I was able to enjoy a calm and leisurely breakfast. The variety of dishes was abundant and satisfying, though the white rice was a bit too soft for my taste. Although it's a Hotel that's quite difficult to make a Reservation for, I would like to stay here again.

    I wish there was a bath on the top floor.

    In summer, it's a beer garden, and in winter, a bath; this would be the most desirable Hotel among the ones near the station. The dining area is on the lower floors, but you can watch the Shinkansen trains passing by, which gets you pumped up before a business trip and enhances the travel mood.

    Stayed for a Multiple Night Stay

    It was a 2-night, 3-day stay. The staff provided pleasant service, leaving a good impression. We appreciated having a space to pack our luggage for the return trip and to meet up with friends who were doing separate activities. Thank you for your hospitality. The breakfast was delicious!

    I was able to focus on my work without distractions.

    It was an exhausting all-nighter, but the heartfelt breakfast refreshed me. The Saikyo miso dressing and Shogoin turnip dressing were delicious, and I appreciated the unique offerings like herring soba and cheese fondue, which changed slightly every day. The bed-making staff greeted me warmly, making me feel like a resident of the Hotel. Thank you.

    Thank you for taking...

    Thank you for taking care of us for two days during the New Year holidays. Although the stays were on separate days, we were able to relax on both days. It is close to Kyoto Station, and the breakfast is plentiful, making it a hotel I can recommend.

    Failed to choose a Room

    I reserved a room on the top floor with lounge access, but it was quite small, and there was no space to open two suitcases. I had reserved a room with a separate type of bath, but it was a room with a washing area. When you open the bathroom door, it leads directly into the room, so there was no space to change clothes, which was inconvenient. I thought the view would be nice since it was the top floor, but the window was very small, and the view was of the building next door. There is a step in the room, so be careful when going to the bathroom at night. The location is very good, but it seems I made a mistake in choosing the room this time. I think there are many other rooms, so perhaps another room would be better. Other than that, the breakfast was fairly good, and all the staff greeted us cheerfully and were very helpful with sightseeing advice, which was very nice.

    Almost satisfied, but

    I arrived a little early, but I was grateful to be allowed to check in and take a short break before heading to my next destination. The Room was clean, and there was no smell from the bath, so I had a comfortable stay. The luggage storage after check-out was very helpful. Thanks to that, I was able to visit various places. If I had to say, it seems like the Room is being displayed, but the plastic part of the electrical outlet plug is half broken, which made me worry about the risk of electric shock or fire. The outlet was also recessed? It was near the table, so I wanted to use it, but I was too scared to do so and ended up using the outlet on the TV side to charge my devices.

    This is my second stay this year.

    Located in front of Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit, the limousine bus stops to Itami Airport and Kansai Airport are also nearby, making it an excellent location for business trips and sightseeing. It is also convenient as it is just two subway stations away from Shijo. The Room's bathroom feels slightly old, but the Room was spacious and comfortable. I will use it again.

    I was able to relax.

    Thank you for the room upgrade. The top floor and comfortable bed made my stay very pleasant. I suppose the poor manners of some individuals are unavoidable at any hotel, but it was disappointing that the breakfast was generally on the salty side with no lighter options. That said, the property is very close to the station, the room was clean, and the Keihan brand provides a sense of security, so I would like to stay again when I have business in Kyoto.

    Good location and service!

    I had plans to visit various places from Rakunan to Rakuhoku and Ukyo Ward, and the access to all of them was excellent. Also, for places I didn't know how to get to due to lack of preparation, the front desk staff kindly explained in detail how to reach them! It might have been because it wasn't a busy time, but since I'm not used to sightseeing, it was really helpful! Thank you so much!!

    When I checked in on August 25th, I was upgraded to a room on the 13th floor. Thank you very much to everyone at the hotel. My trip to Osaka was canceled due to a typhoon, so I stayed at your hotel for two days instead (I booked a room with breakfast for the first day and a room without breakfast through the website for the second day). I arrived at your hotel on the morning of August 30th and informed them that I wanted to check in, and when I checked in in the afternoon, I received breakfast coupons for two days. I mentioned that I wouldn't have time for breakfast on September 1st, but were these breakfast coupons given to us? The staff took the breakfast coupons from my hand. In the morning, the staff misunderstood that I wanted to order breakfast on September 1st and charged an additional fee. I was a little disappointed because the front desk staff did not try to communicate with me properly. I realized this time that I need to book through the reservation site. Do not go directly to the hotel to book a room. This is also a misunderstanding due to the language barrier.

    The hotel allows for...

    The hotel allows for check-in and check-out. As the JR was delayed at Kansai Airport, I switched to a bus to get to the hotel. It was 11 PM. After getting off, a walk of 80 meters brought me to Hotel Keihan Kyoto. My fatigue disappeared. I was happy to be upgraded to a room on the 13th floor and to have a complimentary drink bar. The amenities were excellent. To get to the central exit of Kyoto Station, you have to go through the north-south free passage. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which was traditional Japanese cuisine.
