Kumihama in Early Spring
This time was a Multiple Night Stay. No matter how many times I visit, it truly makes me happy. A clean, beautiful bed with crisp white linens. Comfortable pajamas and fragrant, high-quality soaps. The room is genuinely relaxing, with simple, tasteful furniture and products—never over-decorated. I was thrilled to make it in time for oysters. On the second day, I also challenged myself to ride an e-bike all the way around Kumihama Bay. This e-bike is highly recommended for the pleasant seasons ahead. Even if you don’t go all the way around the bay, just riding to Shotenkyo is more than enough to be moved. Gazing at the surface of Kumihama Bay and listening to the flutter of waterbirds’ wings, a quiet sense of happiness slowly welled up inside me.

Exquisite Italian Cuisine
We stayed for two nights and were very grateful for the attentive response to the noise in our room on the first night. On the second day, we rented an electric bike and enjoyed a ride around Kumihama Bay. The weather was perfect, allowing us to see Kabuto Mountain beautifully reflected on the mirror-like water surface. Thanks to the electric assistance, even as a middle-aged couple, we had a fun and easy ride. With low traffic in the area, it’s highly recommended. The breakfast was deliciously prepared with plenty of vegetables served on a single plate, making for a healthy start to our day. We also enjoyed an afternoon treat at the café—a chestnut-themed dessert plate that was absolutely delightful. The highlight of our stay was dinner: herb-sautéed tagged snow crab—a luxurious dish that left us completely amazed by its unique flavor! We are so glad we chose this accommodation; tonight's dinner brought us pure joy once again. This accommodation offers exceptional cuisine without question—it deserves more than 10 points out of 5! Additionally, we were impressed by the thoughtful care from staff members (9 points) and appreciated the high-quality amenities and blankets provided in our room. However, one small suggestion would be adding curtains to some small windows in rooms where they are absent—perhaps intentionally designed for ambiance—but personally, I would prefer them installed (4 points for facilities). A two-night stay allows you to fully enjoy everything this accommodation has to offer—I highly recommend it!

Exquisite!
This was an accommodation I had been curious about but hesitated to visit due to the seemingly challenging journey. With high expectations from the hotel's appearance and glowing reviews about the cuisine, I decided to stay. The food, in particular, left me speechless with its excellence. Starting with my favorite appetizer of Seiko crab, followed by a seafood soup that was simply divine—the balance of flavors and seasoning elevated every dish to perfection. Everything I tasted was delicious, leaving me completely satisfied. The room had been renovated and offered a simple yet cozy space with abundant use of wood. Additionally, the handmade welcome sweets provided in the room were incredibly tasty. What stood out most was the exceptional service from all staff members, who ensured a comfortable and pleasant stay. This is undoubtedly an accommodation that comes to mind first when craving delicious Italian cuisine!

Late Autumn Visit
A late autumn visit to HOTEL HOLIDAY HOME offers a sense of living amidst nature, with its garden and pathways seamlessly connected to the surrounding countryside. The high-quality bed linens, pajamas, and amenities are designed with functional beauty and comfort in mind. With nothing unnecessary present, the beauty of each product truly stands out. In our daily lives, we are often surrounded by an overwhelming amount of things and activities, but here you can experience true quality and richness. Migratory birds arrive at Kumihama Bay during this season, and the autumn leaves at Nyoiji Temple were stunningly beautiful. Perhaps next time will be during the snowy season. As I leave this place, I always find myself wondering when I’ll return again—when will I have the chance to come back?

It exceeded expectations!
Holidayhome, which had been one of the "accommodations I wanted to stay at least once" for years, finally became a reality this time. The warm hospitality of the staff, the room, and the meals exceeded all expectations—truly exceptional service. It has been a long time since I experienced such a fulfilling trip. Thank you so much. A stylish Hotel surrounded by lush nature
Staying in a detached Room felt like spending time at a private villa, with simple yet sophisticated interiors that left a lasting impression. The provided amenities, loungewear, and tableware were all of high quality, adding to the excitement. Opening the curtains revealed lush greenery, creating a sense of openness and relaxation. The peaceful and serene atmosphere allowed for a truly tranquil experience. The meals were all incredibly delicious, beautifully presented, and complemented by the attentive and pleasant service from the staff. They kindly inquired about allergies in advance and adjusted the menu accordingly. Breakfast was a delightful spread featuring a plate full of local vegetables, granola, bread, fruits, and more, with portions so generous it was hard to finish. While the greenery outside was not visible during dinner due to the darkness, enjoying breakfast with a view of the lush landscape through the glass wall was a luxurious and enriching experience. The absence of background music also added to the calming ambiance. Every aspect of the stay was memorable, and I would love to visit again.

I had a thoroughly satisfying holiday.
We lead busy lives on weekdays, but seeking an escape from the ordinary, we stayed at this holiday home for the second time. At check-in, the staff mentioned our last visit was nine years ago, instantly bringing back fond memories of how comfortable it was. Once again, we were touched by the warm hospitality of the staff and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing holiday. As we left, my friend and I naturally smiled and said, "Let's come back again."

Wonderful!
Everything about our stay was wonderful. It was my first time visiting by train, and the Shuttle Service to the station was warm and accommodating. I enjoyed reading on the terrace of my Room and taking leisurely walks nearby, allowing me to relax away from daily life. Every dish at dinner was delicious! The oysters, steak, and especially the vegetables were truly amazing. The cider made with fruits grown within the Hotel was also delightful. Even though I usually have a small appetite, I finished everything including dessert. Breakfast was equally enjoyable with each menu item being a treat. This incredible stay wouldn’t have been possible without the staff—those at reception, those who provided Shuttle Service, and those who prepared and served such delicious meals. Thank you very much!

I hesitated to write...
I hesitated to write a review, worrying that it might make this place even more popular and harder to book. As a wheelchair user, I had another very comfortable stay. There are several types of rooms to choose from, adding to the fun of selecting one. Enjoying coffee on the terrace while listening to the rustling trees, watching the shimmering sea of Kumihama through the foliage, and hearing birds chirping is an absolute delight. Even though I visit during the same season every time, their locally sourced and creatively prepared dishes are always plentiful and incredibly delicious—I wish I could start over and enjoy them all again! One common travel concern is not getting enough vegetables, but I love how Holiday Home incorporates various vegetables with different cooking methods and flavors into their meals. Above all else, what makes this place truly special is its amazing staff. Thanks to them, every stay is relaxing and pleasant—I’m so grateful for that. This time around, we also enjoyed fireworks as a family due to the season. The staff even set everything up safely for us in advance—thank you so much! The nostalgic smell of gunpowder, crackling sounds, colorful flames from fireworks, and sparklers brought back childhood memories—it was genuinely fun. I’m already looking forward to visiting again in late autumn!

Summer HOLIDAY HOME and Walk in Kumihama
Second stay, this time traveling solo. Everything about the property was delightful, making for a truly happy stay. The meals, filled with the blessings of the sea and mountains, were continuously impressive, and hibiscus flowers bloomed beautifully on the porch of my Room. HOLIDAY HOME showcases its unique beauty in every season—spring, summer, autumn, and winter. I lost track of time amidst the serene streets of Kumihama and the pleasant sea breeze. Next time, I hope to return in autumn or winter with a heartfelt "I'm home!" Thank you very much!

This is my second stay. I returned because of the great impression from my previous visit. The staff, without exception, provided excellent service. I travel to various places for leisure, but accommodations as comfortable as this are rare to find. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

It was a relaxing experience.
We stayed during the May holidays. With only six rooms on a spacious property, we enjoyed a special holiday in a peaceful and uncrowded environment. The two-story maisonette-style accommodation was spacious enough for four adults, with tasteful interior design that allowed our whole family to relax. Since we were staying with our 3-year-old child, the staff had thoughtfully rolled up bath towels to fill the gap between the Hollywood twin beds. We were deeply touched by this warm gesture when we noticed it. The food was delicious, and we also enjoyed chatting with the staff. The staff created a gentle and calm atmosphere, making our stay very comfortable. Thanks to this wonderful experience, we felt truly refreshed. Thank you so much!

A Brief Stay in Kumihama
A long-held wish to visit finally came true. During check-in, a charming deer visited the garden, delighting all the guests. We enjoyed a light exploration of the surrounding area on an E-BIKE until evening, taking in the stunning views of Kumihama Bay. Every dish at both dinner and breakfast was truly impressive. The staff's love and care for this Hotel were evident throughout our stay. The manager's words, "This time of year, the expressions of trees and plants change daily. Even rainy days are beautiful," left a lasting impression on us. It was hard to leave, but we will definitely return soon! Next time, I plan to bring several books for a Multiple Night Stay and experience living in Kumihama!

This was our second time.
Truly the best hotel. As my son is entering middle school and will be busy with extracurricular activities, we decided to take advantage of spring break for a trip. Among all the accommodations my son has stayed at, he said this was the one he wanted to visit most, so we came here. The quiet sea and pleasant walks were wonderful. We strolled through a nearby park while enjoying the cherry blossoms and relaxed as a family. We enjoyed delicious meals together as a family without worrying about our surroundings and spent time at our own pace. There was also a facility where clothes could be purchased, allowing my wife to enjoy shopping leisurely. We loved everything about this place so much that we left reluctantly but with happy hearts in the car on our way home, already saying we want to come back soon. The staff at the facility were kind and truly appreciated their hospitality—thank you very much!

Crab Feast Plan - Fully Satisfying!
We stayed for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Every meal was delicious, especially the "sekogani" and "local crab herb sauté," which were exceptional. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't see the sunset. We look forward to visiting again to enjoy a beautiful sunset next time!

It was a wonderful stay beyond my expectations.
I saw in a local booklet that there is a wonderful Hotel in Kumihama, and I've always wanted to visit. I arrived in the light rain, but a staff member rushed over with an umbrella, guided me into the warm interior, and I felt relieved. The Room was also very lovely, and I was able to relax completely. I was impressed that they thoughtfully provided pajamas with pants in addition to the one-piece type. It was a stay where I felt such meticulous care in various places. The meal I was looking forward to was even more delicious than expected, and the service and guidance were very pleasant, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a good mood. On this chilly day, the floor heating in the Room was very warm and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was also very fresh and delicious with vegetables and fruits, and I ate heartily from the morning. The coffee I drank on the terrace attached to the Room was also very delicious. I am thinking of visiting again in a different season next time. (The oyster season seems nice too.) Everyone saw me off at departure, and I am still talking about how heartwarming the stay was after returning home. This time, the weather was bad, and I couldn't go cycling nearby, so I look forward to enjoying that next time. (I also received such guidance in advance with careful communication.)

It was really good.
The whole family was very satisfied. We enjoyed the food, the small group, and shopping at the select shop. Riding e-bikes around Kumihama with the family was fantastic. It was an excellent inn that we definitely want to visit again.

This time, I revisit...
This time, I revisited with my daughters to enjoy an adult girls' trip. My daughter, who was visiting for the first time, couldn't hide her excitement at the beautiful exterior, and we also enjoyed a fresh experience in a room with a different layout than usual. The delicious meals, focused on local production for local consumption, and the high level of hospitality always impress us. However, what was particularly memorable was when a staff member overheard my daughters talking about my upcoming 60th birthday at the shop and informed the hotel. They then provided a dessert plate with a message, celebrating a little early, which was a touching gesture. This made me realize once again that the desire to offer the best hospitality possible, tailored to the guests' perspective, is shared among all the staff. Thank you for allowing us to have such a wonderful time.

It was the best holiday.
It was a hotel where you could fully enjoy nature. The food was delicious, and all the staff were pleasant, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Although it was unfortunately rainy on the day, the sound of the rain from outside seemed to enhance the soothing effect.
