    Great night view.

    I had the chance to meet my niece and her husband for the first time, as they came from the Kanto area. I planned this so we could relax at a leisurely pace, enjoy the night view, and take in Kobe together. I later heard that they headed home very happy. This is an Accommodation my father loves, and I felt confident leaving everything to you, knowing they would enjoy it here. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful time.

    Back on the ocean terrace after a long time.

    The room was as clean as always, the service was just as attentive, and both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying—especially the delicious rolled omelet. Even though it had been over a year since my last stay… I relaxed and warmed up in the jacuzzi just like before! It’s a shame the jacuzzi faucet can’t be used. I’ll be back again.

    It was relaxing.

    Due to the gap caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been about six years since my last stay, making this probably my fifth visit. Back when I used to stay frequently, this accommodation was top-rated in IKYU reviews for the Kinki region. Although it no longer holds that position now, I stayed with some hesitation but found it to be just as excellent as before. The view of the surroundings remains stunning. The room was clean and comfortable with floor heating during this season. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented on exquisite tableware. I look forward to visiting again in a different season!

    Accommodation with utmost care and preparation

    I was able to spend the time I had been saving for years at an accommodation in Rokko with a view of the nightscape, as a celebration for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere of the accommodation, the warm hospitality, the cuisine, and the ambiance of both the room and interior were all very satisfying. Above all, it was the breathtaking night view that exceeded my expectations. The scenery at dawn was unexpectedly beautiful. If I may add one wish, it would be to have a bathtub where I could stretch my legs fully. I am considering revisiting during another season.

    The night view was stunning. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were wonderful. The food was delicious, and my parents, who came with me, were deeply impressed. It is also close to Arima Onsen, and I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the chance to visit Kobe.

    This was my first time using it.

    The facility itself, as well as the amenities, are of a high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals we had been looking forward to. Having stayed at a business hotel in central Osaka the previous night, we were especially touched by the heartfelt hospitality that went beyond just following a manual. We would love to visit again. The reason for giving 4 stars for the onsen and bath is simply because we couldn't see much of the night view due to fog (our own bad luck). As an accommodation, it was perfect.

    A Villa on Mount Rokko

    Cleaning and cooking can be a hassle at home, but here you can enjoy prepared meals, afternoon naps, a spacious balcony in the room, and a rooftop jacuzzi. At night, feel the cool breeze while stargazing—a delightful experience. The accommodation staff mentioned that it’s 7 degrees cooler than the city below, creating a comfortable space. Awaken from an afternoon nap to the sound of cicadas and prepare for dinner—each dish is deliciously satisfying. While only Prosecco is available as sparkling wine here, there’s an affordable selection of white and red wines. The "Nemunoki" room on the first floor has its own unique charm. Around 2 AM, you might feel as though someone is in the room with faint sounds like tapping or thumping noises. When checked out, it becomes quiet again—not so much eerie but more like playful spirits or gods at work. Interestingly enough, "Nemu" refers to couples sleeping together; my partner was spooked enough to join me in bed with a laugh! The mysterious occurrences seemed to last until morning when they ended with birds chirping. Having stayed in this room three times now—with two instances of strange phenomena (and one time I slept through due to overindulgence)—it adds an intriguing layer of excitement! The hanging scrolls in this room are slightly burnt but signed by Kokei; meanwhile on the staircase hangs artwork by Fujita Tsuguharu. Make sure to fully enjoy your stay!

    Thank you very much.

    Unfortunately, we couldn't use the rooftop jacuzzi due to the rain and wind, which was disappointing. The amount of food was just right and very delicious. We were able to relax comfortably in the spacious Room with a cozy sofa. Thank you very much. We look forward to staying again!

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    It was a very hot day, but since the accommodation is located on a mountain, it felt cool. The meals were especially delicious and truly impressive. All the staff were friendly and kind, which warmed my heart. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. I was able to relax thoroughly. Thank you very much!

    Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms.

    This was my first stay in April. The experience began with a beautiful cherry blossom painting (possibly a folding screen?) and cherry blossom tea in the lounge upon arrival. The meals were delicious, featuring an abundance of spring ingredients. The dining area was adorned with numerous flowers, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere everywhere you looked. The coffee cups in the room also had cherry blossom designs, and even the spoons featured cherry blossoms. At breakfast the next morning, different flowers and fresh cherry blossoms were arranged in the dining area, once again creating an enchanting ambiance. Conversations with the staff were delightful, and my mother, who loves cherry blossoms, seemed very happy and enjoyed meaningful moments during our stay. Thank you very much!

    I had a blissful time.

    The entire inn and the room were clean, allowing us to walk around without slippers. The room was beautiful, yet we were able to relax without feeling tense. The room we stayed in had an especially amazing view from the window. The meals were sophisticated, allowing us to fully enjoy the taste of the ingredients. We were able to spend a wonderful blissful time, liberated from everyday life. I would love to stay there again.

    It was the best hospitality.

    Thank you for taking care of us during our first overnight stay as a couple. We arrived with excitement after navigating the winding mountain roads. The food, the room, the jacuzzi bath with a view of the night scenery, and the staff's hospitality were all impressive! We will definitely visit again, thank you very much.

    I was able to relax slowly.

    The pick-up service arrived promptly after I called. The room had both samue and yukata, allowing for a relaxing time within the facility. From the rooftop jacuzzi, I could enjoy a panoramic view of Kobe's nightscape. However, the jacuzzi cover was heavy, making it difficult to open and close by myself. Dinner was a smaller course, but it was sufficient. Breakfast had so many items that I ended up leaving some, which I felt sorry about. Personally, I would have preferred a slightly smaller portion. Even in summer, it was cool on the mountain, allowing for a comfortable stay. I would like to use this place again.

    A "mountain" resort with a spectacular view overlooking Kobe.

    The accommodation is situated in a stunning location overlooking the southern sea from the ridge of Mount Rokko. The welcome is elegant. The room features flooring with underfloor heating that feels pleasant to bare feet, and tatami mats. All guest rooms face the sea. The room includes a small 10-tatami mat Japanese-style room, a bedroom of similar size, an open-air bath with a view about 4 tatami mats in size, a shower room, and a spacious washroom. It is a spacious corner room. You can overlook Osaka City to the east and parts of Rokko Island and Port Island to the south (the view to the west is blocked by the greenery of the mountains). The fixtures, fittings, and furniture are new, high-quality, and clean. When you step out onto the large terrace, you can frequently hear the sound of bush warblers singing somewhere in the lush trees. It has the charm of a mountain resort. The rooftop private jacuzzi has no roof, offering a wonderfully wide sky, but at over 900 meters above sea level, it is a few degrees cooler than the center of Kobe, and perhaps due to the terrain, the wind blows strongly. The bath in the room is spacious yet warm, and the greenery outside the window is refreshing. After a bath, enjoy local beer from the room's refrigerator. It's delicious. Meals are served in semi-private booths. The room is calm, but if the neighboring table is lively, voices carry well. The timing and attentiveness of the service are elegant and delicate. The house wine was also delicious. Guests are responsible for cooking the meat on a personal stove at the table.

    The meals were delicious.

    I had delicious kaiseki after a long time. The broth was very tasty, so I was satisfied with whatever I had. The breakfast was also a feast, and I was very satisfied. The night view of Kobe from both the room and the bath was beautiful, and the atmosphere was nice. However, although the bathroom in the room was very spacious, the bath was narrow, and we couldn't relax together. It was a pity that if it had been a little higher, we could have stretched our legs and enjoyed the night view comfortably. I was looking forward to the wine from the Ikkyu Diamond benefits, but I didn't receive it. I was in a rush because of the rain during checkout and forgot about it, but I realized it after I got home, which was disappointing.

    The period of Entei

    This year's sweltering heat is exceptional... as I say every year. On such hot days, I visit "Ocean Terrace Ajisai" and enjoy a cool evening in the rooftop jacuzzi with a beer in hand. Coming here, I spend the summer coolly and the winter warmly and cozily. Thank you for always taking care of us! Best regards to everyone.

    Only the bathroom is disappointing.

    The meals were wonderful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the bathtubs in each room could not reheat the water, and the temperature adjustment was not successful. If this point were improved, I believe it would be a five-star accommodation. It's a place I'd like to visit each season.

    I was very satisfied.

    Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, and there was a wide variety of dishes, which made us very satisfied. The attentiveness of all the staff was wonderful, and we had enjoyable conversations with them. We are looking forward to our next stay.

    It was a repeat visit.

    This was my second stay since I visited last summer. I was surprised by the difference in temperature. It was 10 degrees different; I had heard it was the same as the temperature in Hakodate, but in summer, it felt like a highland, like Mount Rokko. It was the same room, but the view was very beautiful because the air was clear. I wish I could have stayed in a different room. The food was very delicious, and the dishes were wonderful, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It turned into a storm at night, and the jacuzzi almost got blown away, but the night view was very beautiful. I live nearby, but I was able to spend a luxurious time.

    I was able to create memories with heartfelt hospitality.

    I stayed for one night to visit my mother and relatives. I wanted to send a flower arrangement as a celebration, so I consulted with the hotel by phone in advance. They introduced me to a very tasteful florist, and I was able to arrange it, which made the recipient very happy. The room had a wonderful view, and the amenities showed thoughtful consideration for women (such as a jewelry box, beauty equipment, cosmetics, etc.), which made me feel the hospitality. I was also grateful for the cold water delivered to the room in a pot at night, which helped with taking medication before bed and having a drink after waking up. The breakfast was mainly Japanese, with plenty of vegetables, making it healthy and delicious. Thank you very much for taking care of us. I have one request: it would be nice to have a standing mirror for makeup, preferably a three-sided mirror. The lighting at the bathroom mirror is slightly dim, and the sink is large and grand, making it difficult to get close to the mirror for eye makeup. I would appreciate it if you could consider this.
