The St. Regis Osaka
It was my first time staying here, and it was a great Hotel. While I have stayed at other renowned Hotels like the Ritz and Imperial before, this one is equally impressive. The entrance is modest, but once you take the elevator up, you are greeted by a luxurious lobby with high ceilings. The Room's design is well thought out, with quality materials, sheets, and amenities (though not top-tier; some furniture could use repairs, and shampoo/conditioner in bottles feels less premium—considering the price range, I would expect something on par with other luxury Hotels). The location has its unique charm. Situated right on Midosuji Avenue in the heart of a bustling area with vibrant energy, it offers excellent access as Honmachi Station on the Midosuji Line is directly below the Hotel. While it's slightly away from Shinsaibashi, this adds to its appeal with a more local atmosphere filled with stylish and delicious dining options. We enjoyed lunch at "Kyutaro" for udon noodles and indulged in cakes and cookies at "Yohaku" restaurant—both were exceptional gems that truly represent Osaka. What stood out most was the incredible hospitality of all Hotel staff members. From the butler who brought me coffee early in the morning to accommodate my two consecutive days of golf to the doorman who went out to hail a taxi for me on the main street—their dedication made my stay absolutely delightful. It was an unforgettable experience filled with moments that made me think "St Regis is amazing!" over and over again!

This was my first ti...
This was my first time using it. It's a personal, subjective impression based on my own experience... Ritz-Carlton, Peninsula, Chinzanso, Aman... I felt an impression that was a rank above among the many 5-star Hotels with a similar atmosphere. It's not just about the Room being good, the service being good, or the Hotel's atmosphere being good, but everything felt natural? It's hard to express, but I didn't feel any stress... yet received very attentive service... It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

More than worth the price
Everything was truly worth more than the price. The staff around the desk on the first floor were pleasant, but their expressions and actions suggested they were still learning their job. It was disappointing that the foreign staff didn't know the direction to Ikutama Shrine. I would like to stay again.

You can see the view...
You can see the view of Osaka from the bath, and since it is on a high floor, the view from the Room was also excellent. The Room was clean, spacious, and made me feel like I was staying in a luxury Hotel. The French cuisine we had on the first floor at night was plentiful and truly delicious. The breakfast, both the bread and Japanese dishes, was also delicious and very satisfying. It is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

It is a wonderful Hotel, with everyone's kind and prompt service. I want to visit again. When I mentioned that I couldn't make it to the spa on time because of the breakfast line, they kindly offered in-room dining. The meals were delightful, and the foreign staff were enjoyable. The pasta was delicious.

A Reward for Yourself
I have visited several times for afternoon tea and cafe use, but this is my first stay. The reason I wanted to stay was because I was impressed by the service of a foreign female staff member on the first floor, Ludor, when I had tea in the summer. It was my first time booking a luxury hotel, and I was excited and nervous throughout. From the initial welcome, all the staff were wonderful and provided courteous service, but I was so nervous that I couldn't fully understand, and I apologize for that. I was very moved by the courteous service provided to me. Since it was a corner room, the night view of Midosuji was beautiful, and I was overwhelmed with emotion. Having prioritized work for a year, it was the best reward. As the stay time became shorter, I felt very reluctant to leave. The butler service I wanted to experience was handled smoothly. I was very happy to enjoy the Eggs Benedict I wanted for breakfast and my favorite tea. I am glad that my first "hokansu" was at St. Regis Osaka. I will visit again.

The lowest Stays
I am the person who previously wrote a review about the best stay. Please allow me to correct my previous review. I love St. Regis and was looking forward to celebrating with a suite reservation, but it turned out to be the worst stay. I requested a turndown service during the champagne sabrage, but when I returned to the room after the event, the staff was still working. Unbelievably, the foreign male staff member instructed me to leave with a hand sign without even greeting me. I originally planned to order room service in the suite, but had to have dinner at L'Ordre to pass the time and then returned to the room. There, I found an unbelievable room with the bathtub water left as it was and the used, wet gown left unattended. When I informed the butler about this, they changed the room for me, but since the room was to be used by another guest the next day, I had to move rooms again. Despite wanting to relax at the hotel, I had to repack my luggage multiple times, change clothes each time, and wait uneasily for several minutes until the pickup arrived, unable to relax at all. After the final room change, when I asked the butler for a drink, I was informed that drinks are only provided as a welcome drink and morning coffee. I was unaware of this rule, which is my fault, but being informed after repeated hotel mishaps made me feel unbearable, so I returned the drink and left for home 3 hours before my scheduled checkout, feeling very sad. In my haste to leave, I forgot a stole worth tens of thousands, and when I called to inquire, I was told by the main phone representative that it would be sent cash on delivery. I was so sad that I cried. Later, I received an email from the housekeeper saying they would return it with free shipping as a special case, but I am filled with the feeling of wanting my hurt feelings and precious holiday back, even if I have to pay for the return shipping of the stole. I feel like crying. I will never visit again.

Dishonest and rude response
At check-in, I was asked to authorize a security deposit of 50,000 yen on my credit card. The reason given was to cover potential damages or in-room dining. However, the explanation was delivered in a manner that felt more like an obligation than a request, which I found very rude. Feeling indignant, I stated that there was no need to worry about dining or damages, to which the staff member said they would consult with the manager and left. Later, they returned with a proposal to authorize 20,000 yen for parking fees and Accommodation Tax. Although the attitude remained rude and lacking sincerity, I agreed due to fatigue. During my 5-night stay, this unpleasant experience at check-in cast a shadow, particularly affecting my comfort during the first two nights. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the doorman and was asked for my room number, but there was no follow-up from the manager or check-in staff. At check-out, I conveyed my discomfort from the check-in experience to a female staff member, who immediately apologized without asking for details. When I questioned if they intended to resolve the issue without understanding what happened, another staff member (later identified as the manager) joined the conversation, merely explaining that the security deposit was the Hotel's policy. I was deeply disappointed by the Hotel's lack of sincere engagement with the unpleasant experience that began at check-in and persisted for over two days. I felt that if I had chosen a different Hotel, I might have had a more pleasant stay. The building and Facility are luxurious and impressive, but there are management issues, and I felt no sincerity or heartfelt hospitality towards guests. I cannot recommend this Hotel to those expecting Japanese-style consideration and "omotenashi." The only saving grace was the sincere service provided by the butler.

It was a very comfortable stay!!
This was my second stay, and just like the last time, I had a very comfortable experience. However, if I may be a bit demanding, it would have been nice to be escorted to the room upon check-in. At a hotel of the St. Regis level, I believe being escorted to the room is one of the pleasures of staying, even on subsequent visits. This time, I was only taken to the front of the elevator and handed the room key, which was a bit disappointing. I understand that due to staffing issues, there may be moments when no one is available to escort guests, but even in such cases, it would have been better if we were given a choice (such as waiting for a staff member to return to be escorted or going to the room by ourselves) after being informed. Also, even if it was just to the front of the elevator, I would have appreciated it if they at least carried my luggage.

Although I could feel the dedication of each staff member in terms of waiting time at check-in, guidance to the breakfast venue, and the use of intercoms, there were some disappointing services, likely due to a shortage of staff. With such a wonderful space and highly motivated staff, I believe improvements will be made.

There were various things.
- When we checked in and entered the Room, there was luggage from other guests in addition to ours. (laugh) - When we returned to the Room, it was just after the turndown service had finished, so when we requested ice service, the room attendant opened the Room door with a master key and brought the ice. - Since there is a pajama service, we ordered to have it placed in the Room while we were out, but it was placed higher than eye level in the closet, making it difficult to find. - At the restaurant, when we requested one of the two eggs to be fried and the other boiled, a total of three eggs were served. - When we ordered an American coffee, it took about 15 minutes, and a blended coffee was brought instead. - The phone in the Room, despite having a handset, could only be used for speaker calls. - The staff's response was very pleasant with a smile, and the shower in the bath and shower booth was to our liking, but it did not surpass the above issues.

Except for the service during breakfast, it is a wonderful hotel.
Other than the crowded breakfast, slow response, and poor staff service, I was very satisfied. I had used the facility about five times just for meals before, but I was surprised at how well-equipped the accommodation and services were. I had felt this way about the restaurant before, but I was reminded that service is more important than the food. The breakfast service was disappointing as it was incomparable to other top-notch hotels.

This is my favorite hotel.
I have stayed here several times and always leave satisfied. This time, although my stay was short, I was able to relax. A large bathtub, a big bed, and watching my favorite movies at night. And above all, the delicious breakfast. Each item is of high grade. The cheese, sausage, and bacon were also delicious. I'm also pleased that I can order my favorites. It's a hotel that makes me want to visit again. I will definitely come back.

The best stay ever!!
I don't usually post reviews, but I was so moved by my stay at the St. Regis that I felt compelled to share my experience. We stayed there to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, and compared to various other five-star hotels, our stay at the St. Regis was exceptionally outstanding. The hotel staff remembered our anniversary and offered us congratulatory words every time we met, which made us feel very happy and warm. The cake we received as a celebration was also truly delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness. The butler assigned to us was truly wonderful; upon learning that I love tea, not only did they bring extra tea, but they also prepared a teapot and honey, and responded to other requests beyond our expectations. The meals at the restaurant were top-notch, with the quality of each dish at La Veduta for lunch and L'Ordre for dinner being superb and incredibly delicious. When the staff learned that I couldn't attend a champagne event during my previous stay, they kindly invited me to participate this time, and the butler even came to check on me at the event venue, which touched me deeply with their warm hospitality. Upon returning to our room after dinner, we found beautiful towel art, lovely music playing, and a single red rose on the table. They had also prepared MegRhythm, pillow mist, bath salts, and skincare products to ensure a comfortable sleep. Thanks to this, I was able to sleep soundly while admiring the beautiful night view. The breakfast we had the next day and the fried rice we ordered via room service for lunch were also very delicious. I have already made my next reservation, deciding that for any special stay in the future, I will definitely visit the St. Regis. Thank you so much for a wonderful anniversary. I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart.

Wonderful hotel.
The room had high ceilings, and the beds were twin double beds, with the bath and everything else being the best. Additionally, the room was on a high floor, offering an excellent view. The staff's service was impeccable, making it truly a wonderful hotel. I have stayed at numerous hotels before, but this is the best hotel. However, there is one point I would like to see improved: the "porridge" option available at breakfast. Porridge needs to be cooked until it thickens, but unfortunately, it was like rice with hot water poured over it, which was disappointing. Please improve this. As for the other ingredients, there were no issues at all, and they were excellent. I would like to stay here again.

First stay
I booked and stayed because the discount and point rewards were high. The room was a Grand Deluxe Premier Twin, very spacious, and had a bath view where you could see the city from the bath. Jazz played from the TV, and there was a drink service, so I was able to relax very much. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, but the Japanese breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, and all were very delicious. I was surprised to see teriyaki yellowtail served in the morning. However, during checkout, it wasn't good that I had to stand and wait for a while because two groups of foreigners were checking out first.

This is probably my 10th stay. Amidst the significant price hikes at luxury hotels due to the inbound effect, this time the pricing was relatively reasonable, so I was able to stay here again after a long time. There are more staff than before, and the service is attentive, making for a pleasant stay... I'm pleased that the breakfast buffet offers not only the second course (egg dishes) but also a third course with options like porridge and pancakes. I think everything has improved compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was an elegant two days.
This was my second stay, and just like last time, I was extremely satisfied with my hotel stay. I was able to spend a very elegant and wonderful two days. Also, the attentiveness of the hotel staff was very courteous and heartwarming. All the food was delicious. I will visit again.

I think this is a hotel where you can feel it's a first-class hotel. The staff providing service were excellent, the room and the view from there were wonderful, and the French restaurant on the first floor for dinner was incredibly delicious. The person who guided us to the room taught us a lot of things, and I felt it was a good hotel. I would like to stay again.

It is a cozy hotel.
The quiet and sophisticated atmosphere of the entire hotel was very comfortable. The cocktail I had at the St. Regis Bar while looking at the Rakuchu Rakugai-zu was exceptionally delicious, and despite the scorching season, the compact garden that can be strolled through 24 hours a day had a charming ambiance. The double basin washroom and the view bath were bright and spacious, making them pleasant, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the sofa was comfortable to sit on. If I had to make a request, it would be appreciated if the coordination among the staff and their use of Japanese could be improved. Each staff member provided pleasant service, but there were some coordination issues that caught my attention, such as the hair iron I requested before my stay not being delivered to the room, not being called to the bar when the room became available after check-in as requested, not being able to reach the butler service around noon (perhaps due to the checkout timing), and the reception not being aware of the reservation status of the hotel spa. Also, perhaps inevitably due to the high number of inbound guests, there were times when it was difficult for foreign staff to understand detailed Japanese. For example, during breakfast, I saw soup being served at another table and asked in Japanese, "Can that soup be added as an option? If it can be ordered immediately, I'd like to know what kind of soup it is?" This resulted in the staff understanding it as "soup? OK!" and ordering the soup. I wanted to order it only if it would come quickly since I was almost finished with my meal, but it ended up arriving only after dessert. I often interact with international students for work, so I understand, but for those whose native language is not Japanese, everyday conversation in fluent Japanese can be quite difficult, so there may be situations where it would be better to use easy-to-understand Japanese or speak in English. I feel that detailed service is still more comprehensive with Japanese companies, but I was able to enjoy an extraordinary hotel stay as if I were overseas, and overall, it was a good stay.

This was my first time staying here. The atmosphere in the lobby, bar, and room was very pleasant, making for a satisfying stay. Just one thing, the butler, the person who exchanged towels?, the staff at the breakfast venue (part-timers?), and many foreign staff members didn't seem to understand conversations in Japanese... There were times when I couldn't understand what they were saying. That was the only concern, but it wouldn't have been a problem if I could speak English (laughs). My wife said it was her favorite among all the 5-star hotels we've stayed at! We'll definitely visit again when we go to Osaka! We couldn't make time this visit, but I definitely want to go to the bar, which seemed quite lovely. Thank you for taking care of us!

The best hospitality
I stayed for my husband's birthday. We received the best hospitality. First of all, thank you for the delicious cake gift. Also, since we had reserved lunch at your hotel before the 3 PM check-in, we arrived at 11:30 AM and were informed that the room was ready. With a late check-out at 1 PM, we were able to enjoy a luxurious long stay. Both lunch and breakfast were delicious, and especially the Taneya collaboration afternoon tea was delicate in both taste and appearance, allowing us to have a delightful time. The service from all the staff was excellent and friendly, and we were able to enjoy conversations. We live in the Kanto region, but we would like to visit your hotel again. That's because it is such a wonderfully attractive hotel.

Delicious breakfast
The breakfast was particularly delicious. Although the variety wasn't extensive, I thought each item was of high quality. I was satisfied, as there were many types of cheese I like, and the ham was also tasty. The bread was delicious too. The taste of the bread and the quality of the butter are major factors for me when choosing a hotel. I'm pleased that the hotel isn't too large, allowing for a leisurely breakfast. However, it's disappointing that my luggage didn't arrive in the room even after two hours. I thought my luggage would be in the room while I was having my meal, but for a five-star hotel, this is quite poor. The last time I stayed, it was also quite late, so I had to call to have it delivered. Next time, I'll carry it myself. I hope for improvement. The best butler service
I stayed for a piano concert at Osaka Nanko Sunset Hall. I asked for directions and travel time, and I was able to enjoy the concert safely. When I returned to my room, still immersed in the afterglow, I saw the pianist I had just enjoyed on the TV screen. From the concert venue, they searched for the artist's name, went out of their way to search on YouTube, and selected a song perfect for the night. There was also a message card saying, "We hope you can relax and immerse yourself in the afterglow." They also prepared herbal tea and pajamas to help me relax. At check-in, they asked about my preferences for basic cosmetics and pajamas and prepared them for me. I was impressed by the excellent butler service. I was truly delighted. I had a wonderful time. The butler service is excellent.
This stay was for our wedding anniversary. The butler brought a cake as a gift and celebrated with us, which was very touching. The butler service is a point of pride, and compared to other hotels, we were very satisfied. The breakfast was also rich in variety and delicious. We have stayed at several five-star hotels, but this was the best meal we've had.
