    Thank you very much.

    I stayed here with my elementary school-aged daughter. They responded very kindly and thoroughly to my questions in advance, which made me feel at ease before our stay. Also, when the bus we planned to take was delayed due to an unexpected incident on the day, they kept in close contact and showed great consideration in many ways, which was extremely helpful. I am truly grateful, and would love to stay again.

    【Dinner】 - We had dinner at Restaurant Fujiwara, but there were moments when we didn’t know what we were eating due to a lack of explanation about the dishes. - The response from a young female staff member was slightly concerning. It seemed there was a lack of coordination with other staff members, as we were asked the same questions multiple times and later saw them laughing among themselves. Additionally, our plates were almost cleared while we were still eating, and during serving, it felt like her fingers touched the plates too much. *The food itself was very delicious.* 【Breakfast】 - Since we heard that the restaurant on the 11th floor would be open until 9:30 AM, we went around 8:30 AM only to find it fully occupied with many people waiting in line. We were directed to go to the first-floor breakfast venue instead; however, that venue closed at 9:00 AM, which left us confused. There was no guidance about potential crowding during check-in, so since there are two venues available for breakfast, I assumed there would be enough space for everyone. However, it felt quite crowded in reality. If one of the venues is likely to reach full capacity early on, aligning their closing times might help improve guest experience. 【First-Floor Restroom】 It seems this restroom may also be accessible for golfers coming from outside; however, aside from dirt brought in by shoes or equipment, it was overall too dirty—including toilets and toilet paper—to use comfortably. I left immediately after entering. The room was spacious and Onsen facilities were excellent; however, these issues significantly detracted from our overall experience.

    We stayed here after visiting Oze. The accommodation is surrounded by deep nature, offering a fantastic location. We had Italian cuisine for dinner at the restaurant, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The staff were kind, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Thank you very much. Although the facility shows some signs of aging, it was within an acceptable range for us. However, we hope the following points can be improved: 1) Guests are not allowed to wear yukata or indoor slippers when dining at the restaurant (since it’s only used by guests, this could be reconsidered). 2) There is no separate WiFi for each room, raising concerns about security (though other internet options are limited due to the mountain location). Thank you for your attention.

    The meals are not delicious. However, as it is a former Prince Hotel, the view is excellent. It does not seem to be a Hotel recommended by IKYU. The surrounding sightseeing can be enjoyed.

    Perfect for a summer retreat

    I visited Karuizawa in early August to escape the heat, but it was very hot and not like the Karuizawa I remembered. The Minakami Kogen Hotel was cool and comfortable. Despite its high altitude, activities like golf and tennis were enjoyable, and it is surrounded by beautiful nature. I plan to come back next year for a summer retreat.

    Surrounded by mountains, greenery, and sky!

    We made a last-minute reservation the day before, but check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Thanks to the reliable IKYU.com. The purpose of this stay was to "heal our tired summer bodies from the heat and busyness," so we indulged in Onsen baths (laughs). Both the large public bath and the detached open-air bath had great views, and the water quality suited us as a couple perfectly, so we enjoyed multiple visits! Although this hotel seems to be older in terms of construction, it has been renovated, and both the room and facilities were well-maintained and clean, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. This time we opted for buffet-style dinner and breakfast; there was a wide variety of dishes available, all delicious and enjoyable. Surrounded by mountains, greenery, sky, and nature—soaking in wonderful Onsen waters while enjoying buffets—we had a stress-free holiday filled with relaxation.

    Comfortable and just right

    Stayed for one night during Fuji Rock (approximately 90 minutes by car from the venue). The "Check-in by midnight without dinner" Plan was affordable and perfect for our needs. A large Hotel suddenly appearing in the mountains—it felt spacious with high ceilings. The Room had all necessary amenities, offering comfort similar to a Hotel in Tokyo. The abundance of power outlets was very convenient. Breakfast was a morning buffet, and I appreciated thoughtful touches like serving delicious local water. The staff were all friendly and greeted us warmly. It seems to be an area full of activities, so I look forward to visiting again!

    Unbeatable Value for Money

    Since March has been too busy, I wanted to relax at a mountain Onsen over the weekend and searched with the following conditions: - Within 3-4 hours by car from home - Buffet for both breakfast and dinner for convenience - No need for nearby sightseeing, but late check-out preferred Among the results, I found a very affordable Hotel. Honestly, I didn’t expect much... or rather, I was worried about things like: Would the road there be a tough mountain path? Would it be a business hotel-like Room and breakfast? Would the bath feel like an afterthought? Despite these concerns, my stay turned out to be wonderful! The Room, bath, and meals were all excellent and exceeded expectations. Especially the open-air bath—it was worth crossing the road to get there. It was a great bath where you could truly feel nature!

    The Onsen is located in a separate annex from the Hotel building and features an open-air bath. Outdoor footwear and umbrellas are provided, making it easy and convenient to visit!

    You can enjoy a variety of activities.

    This time, we stayed as a family (couple + 1 preschool child). There were multiple enjoyable facilities on the premises, which was great. The buffet-style meals were generally delicious and satisfying. Additional attractions can be somewhat costly, so a pass is recommended if you plan to use several. Some facilities were unavailable due to the season, so we’d like to visit again during a better season next time.

    The dinner buffet was very delicious. There were many families with children, and the child-friendly facilities provide peace of mind. If you consider the Onsen as a bonus, you will be very satisfied with this Hotel.

    Many foreign staff members.

    We stayed here for the first time to celebrate our child's birthday. The lobby is clean, but the staff were unfriendly—not just one person, but everyone. However, all the foreign staff members were very pleasant. In the room's unit bath, we were surprised by the tiled floor (why tiles with this design?). For those coming solely for skiing, this accommodation is just right. If you think of the hotel as simply a place to sleep, it shouldn't bother you much.

    Everything was perfect.

    My college-aged daughter and her friend stayed together at your Hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect, and they had an incredibly comfortable, enjoyable, and satisfying stay. Even after returning home, they couldn't stop talking about how amazing their three-day, two-night experience was. They expressed their joy and excitement with heartfelt emotions that words could hardly capture. Initially, the glamping facility they planned to visit was fully booked everywhere. When my daughter became unsure of what to do next, I decided to help her by listening to their wishes and budget before searching from north to south. That’s when I found Minakami Kogen Hotel 200. It had been over 35 years since I last went skiing or visited a winter mountain resort myself—my daughter also had no prior experience in such places. While I'm not overly protective and usually let her handle things independently without interference, since it was me who found this place for them based on my research efforts—and given my lack of familiarity with such facilities—I felt responsible for ensuring everything would go smoothly. I made several calls beforehand regarding questions or details we needed clarification on before their trip; every time your staff kindly assisted us with great patience. Thanks to your support and guidance during those preparations, we were able to feel completely reassured while getting everything ready perfectly. For that kindness shown throughout—we are deeply grateful! This trip turned out beyond wonderful: bringing immense happiness & unforgettable memories to both my daughter & her friend—a truly priceless experience!

    A Long-Awaited Stay

    This place has been a favorite since the Prince era. We stayed here for a ski trip with my daughter's family after quite some time. The buffet quality seems to have improved compared to before, but unfortunately, there was no pasta that my grandchildren liked. The only noodle options were udon or not-so-tasty salty yakisoba, which was disappointing. At breakfast, I asked the staff about taking coffee to go and was told it wasn't available, but later found it in a spot far from the entrance. Perhaps the staff were unaware? It would be more noticeable if placed closer to the entrance. The lifts operated until 17:00, but the Romance Lift leading to the upper slopes closed even earlier, which was inconvenient. At least one should remain operational longer. While issues like having only two elevators may be difficult to address quickly, these two points seem easier to improve. That said, this place offers an amazing view and Onsen experience! They also accommodated our requests well, and my daughter's family seemed satisfied too. We'll definitely visit again!

Good points: - Lift ticket included Plan is reasonably priced - Consideration for families with children - Conveniently located next to the ski resort - Although the building is old, the guest rooms are clean Points of concern: - Hairdryers in the large bath and guest rooms are outdated - Lunchtime at the ski resort gets extremely crowded; a takeaway system might be helpful

    It was excellent!

    I made a reservation because I wanted to go sledding with my 6-year-old son. Although I'm not used to driving, we managed to get there somehow. First, I'd like to mention that the day after our stay, I realized I forgot my towel when trying to take a morning bath. As I hurried past the front desk, a male staff member with glasses asked me if I had forgotten my towel and offered to bring one for me. It was really appreciated as it was cold in my yukata. I was impressed by their hospitality and attention to detail. It's not a new hotel, but it was very clean due to thorough cleaning, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. After arriving, we changed into our gear and played endlessly with sleds and tubes before heading up for an open-air bath at check-in time. We were surprised that it was fed directly from the hot spring! The view was amazing. We relaxed in our clean room until dinner. The buffet-style dinner included luxurious items like chunks of tuna, roast beef, and sushi; everything tasted great no matter what we ate. The desserts didn't have the usual sheet cake feel but tasted homemade! The maple-flavored soft serve ice cream was also delicious! The room was clean and the bed comfortable; much appreciated by our tired bodies. Considering the price, every aspect including service and meal content left us completely satisfied with this hotel. We hope to visit again next year and try skiing with my son. Thank you for taking care of us; we made wonderful winter memories here. Thank you very much!

    Perfect for family use

    Used during the ski season. There were a few errors and communication took some time due to the many foreign staff, but I think the response was generally pleasant. I was heartened several times by seeing the staff enjoying their work. It's an environment where I would like to have a Multiple Night Stay, but since there's nothing around, it would be nice if the convenience store functions of the shop inside the facility could be enhanced a bit more. Oh, the massage machine on the 11th floor has been under maintenance for a while, when will it be available...?

    Enjoy nature

    I stayed in a corner view Room. During the autumn foliage season, I was able to enjoy a very beautiful view through the full windows. When the outdoor lights went out at night, I could see a sky full of stars from the Room and fully enjoy nature, which was very satisfying. The staff, from the front desk to room service and the bath cleaning staff, were very polite, kind, and quick to respond. On the night of November 2nd, I requested a blanket because it was cold. A male room service staff member brought it to me, and I was pleased that the blanket was warmed. I appreciate the thoughtfulness. Unfortunately, the sink bowl in the Room was full of scratches. Also, the first night's dinner was on the 11th floor, and whether it was because the Room was dark or the buffet arrangement was not good, although the taste was delicious, it felt very cheap, which was disappointing. The second night's dinner was at the restaurant on the 1st floor, and although the meal content was the same, perhaps because the Room was brighter and the atmosphere was better, or because the buffet area was larger and had slightly more variety, I was very satisfied. It was unfortunate that the chopsticks were plastic. While I understand about the plates, I would prefer disposable chopsticks. I would like to visit again. I had a great holiday.     The children were satisfied as well.

    I stayed with my children this time. There was news of a typhoon approaching on the day, and I was worried until just before departure, but in the end, there was almost no impact from the typhoon, and the meals and baths were satisfactory. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely like to stay again!

    The parfait-making experience at Harada Farm, which was part of the package, was terrible. We went to the orchard and were given canned mandarins and runny ice cream. It might be better to remove this from Ikkyu's offerings.

    The location was excellent, and we enjoyed the view. We went with high expectations for the pool, and our one-year-old child seemed to have a great time playing, so we were very satisfied. As for the meals, both dinner and breakfast were not particularly delicious, leaving an impression that they could have tried a bit harder.
