The smell is a bit...
Upon arrival at the Hotel, I was informed that dinner and breakfast were only available at specific times, which felt inconvenient as there were no options to choose from. I decided to head to the Room and was surprised by the strong smell of tobacco in the hallway. The Room itself wasn’t as bad, but it still made me feel slightly nauseous. After opening the window for some fresh air, it became somewhat bearable. In hindsight, I should have requested a Room change at the front desk, but instead, I canceled my second night through IKYU.com. The Room was spacious with a great view. The meals were delicious, and the restaurant staff left a positive impression with their kindness. If not for the tobacco smell, I would have stayed for my second night as planned; however, this led me to decide on changing Hotels instead.

However, we deeply apologize for causing any discomfort during your stay. Firstly, we apologize for not providing sufficient information regarding meal times in advance, which caused inconvenience. We will strive to improve our communication to ensure smoother guidance in the future. Additionally, we are truly sorry that the smell of tobacco in the hallway affected your experience negatively. While our accommodation enforces a strict non-smoking policy, we will review and work on improving the air quality in shared areas as well. If such issues arise during your stay, we are prepared to accommodate requests such as room changes whenever possible; however, it seems this information was not adequately conveyed to you, and for that too, we sincerely apologize. Despite these shortcomings, it was heartening to hear that you were satisfied with aspects such as the spaciousness of your room, the view, dining at our restaurant, and staff service. Your kind words mean a great deal to us and provide some solace. We take all feedback seriously and will continue working towards creating an even more comfortable environment for our guests. Should there be another opportunity in the future where we can welcome you back and make amends for this experience, it would be greatly appreciated.
