A quiet, wonderful Accommodation. When we were shown to our Room, the open-air bath was already at the perfect temperature, with steam gently rising. I was completely won over by the bookshelf stocked with books about Nara and by the delicious local green tea in a pitcher in the fridge—just like at home (and bottled water is properly provided as well). Once you step out of your Room, you’re exposed to the outdoor temperature, so when moving around, you’ll freeze if you only wear the in-house loungewear and sandals with bare feet—please come prepared. The Japanese garden path leading to the restaurant is beautiful (we even saw deer in the morning), but after dinner with a few drinks—even though it’s just next door—we had them kindly drive us over so we wouldn’t get lost. On a weekday in March, we hardly ran into other guests at all; the restaurant was private-room dining, and check-in also felt semi-private, which made everything very comfortable. The food was thoughtfully prepared down to every detail and absolutely delicious. They also offered tastings of local Nara sake—it was pure bliss. Thank you very much! We’re already planning a visit next spring (lol).

The Room was small, but it was more than enough for one person. It was my first solo trip in a while, and I had a very pleasant stay. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and felt very comfortable. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff explained everything carefully. They had a memory foam pillow at the exact same height as the one I use at home, so I slept very well. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed at “Sakura.” The Room was very spacious and spotless! The Accommodation is surrounded by trees, and the view from the window was beautiful and truly relaxing. The meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied—the decorative cuts of the ingredients and the stylish tableware made everything look adorable as well. We could enjoy our meal calmly with in-room dining. All staff kindly helped us with everything, including welcoming us, adjusting the meal content (for pregnancy), and lending us a steam iron. Their warm, gentle hospitality really stood out. The bath was a large hinoki-wood bath, and amenities such as shampoo and lotion were Aesop with a wonderful fragrance. It’s also close to sightseeing spots like Kasuga Taisha Shrine and Nara Park, so we highly recommend it if you’re visiting Nara! We made unforgettable memories. We’ll be back as a family of three after our baby is born!

This was my fifth stay, but I mistakenly checked in on the wrong Reservation date. Thanks to the support of all the staff, I was able to stay by paying an additional fee. I’m truly very grateful. I look forward to staying again.

Thank you for your suggestions for the Roku-chan Room. We’re also cherishing the kofun cushion we purchased at home. Although we originally planned to stay overnight, we ended up enjoying many things more than expected. We were able to stay until late and relax at our own pace. Thank you very much for everything.

Just before check-out, my grandfather who was traveling with us became unwell, and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. At dinner, they even specially chopped the food into smaller pieces to make it easier to eat, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful care from a middle-aged female staff member. All of the staff were very kind. The hospitality was outstanding!

I loved the experience of staying halfway up Mt. Wakakusa, and this was my second stay. I was able to spend a truly relaxing time here. I think this is an auberge where you can savor ingredients from Nara. The carefully prepared dinner is exceptional, and with advice from an experienced sommelier, it’s easy to end up enjoying more wine than planned. All baths are kept impeccably clean at all times. The in-Room bath, indoor bath, and private panoramic open-air bath all provide high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and other amenities in full-size bottles. What I especially recommend: - Soaking in the complimentary private panoramic open-air bath while taking in sweeping views of the cityscape of Nara - The complimentary “New Japan’s Three Great Night Views” & stargazing tour (you might even see deer) This is a Hotel I truly hope to stay at again.

Convenient access for exploring Nara, and the Room is satisfying. The thick-cut toast for breakfast is delicious. Check-out is quick and easy by simply placing the room card in the box. I will use this service again. Thank you very much!

My wife and I stayed in a Room with lounge access. The Room was clean and comfortable. The lounge was cozy, and the staff were very pleasant. Great value for money. This was our second stay, and we’d like to make it our regular Accommodation in Nara.

I had a very comfortable two-night stay. The Hotel was worth more than the accommodation fee. All drinks were provided, and they generously replenished the bottled water as well (though I didn’t take any to go). In particular, there were two sets of pillows—one soft and one firmer—which was great for me. The bathroom also had a separate washing area. I honestly wondered if this price was really okay.

I enjoyed watching the Omizutori ceremony at Todaiji Nigatsudo and had a pleasant stay with that feeling lingering. The room was functional and clean, with a spacious and relaxing bathroom. It is a rare and refreshing new accommodation in Nara.

I’m not a fan of twin-bed-style mattresses in a Japanese-style room. I hesitated even after seeing the photos at the time of Reservation, but when I arrived and asked for a standard Japanese-style room, they kindly agreed right away and said they could remove the mattresses immediately. Thanks to that, I was able to sleep comfortably on traditional futon bedding in the tatami room. If there were information stating that switching to a standard Japanese-style setup is possible, I think it would appeal to a wider range of guests.

The Hotel is located on lively Sanjo Street, close to JR Nara Station. Getting to Kintetsu Nara Station is also enjoyable, as you can walk through the shopping arcade and browse various shops. Kofuku-ji Temple and Nara Park are easy to find—just head east along Sanjo Street—making it a great base for sightseeing. The Hotel is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. With supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, it’s very convenient, and I would like to stay here again when visiting Nara.

The Room was clean, and since I went to the large public bath early, it was almost private and very comfortable. The meals were delicious, and the explanations of each dish were polite and easy to understand. Although I was traveling solo, I had a wonderful trip. Later that night, I regretted not requesting a humidifier—I realized they might have been able to provide one if I had asked in advance. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

We stayed here with four people for sightseeing in Nara the other day. The Room was spacious, with four beds, a large sofa, and a table, so we were able to stay very comfortably. The bath, toilet, and washbasin were separate, which was very convenient. It is adjacent to Kintetsu Nara Station, making it easy to get anywhere! Above all, it offers great value for money. We would love to stay here again if we visit Nara in the future.

We stayed to celebrate a special anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience that far exceeded our expectations. From the surprise arrangements to the warm words from the staff, we felt genuine hospitality throughout, and our whole family was able to relax from the heart. The food was delicious, and this is an outstanding Hotel where you can feel attention to detail in every aspect. Thanks to this Hotel, we were able to do something truly meaningful for our parents. I stayed during the rainy season. The parking lot is a bit far, and the entrance is narrow, so I had to be careful. However, depending on the parking space, it was convenient for loading and unloading luggage. The first floor serves as an entrance area with a convenience store attached, which was very helpful for any last-minute needs. The reception counter is on the second floor, where breakfast is also served. Welcome drinks are available at certain times with a wide variety to choose from. Although I accidentally spilled some in the elevator while deciding what to pick, the staff quickly provided cleaning supplies and assisted me promptly. The breakfast area is small, so securing seats was challenging for families. However, it was great to enjoy local specialties like Nara's famous persimmon leaf sushi and Narazuke pickles. Even with small children in tow, we found the room very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Room with a loft bed that allowed our family to relax comfortably. The location is very close to the station. We were able to park slightly earlier (with an additional fee) and go sightseeing by train conveniently. There are izakayas and stylish restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so finding dinner options wasn’t an issue at all. Umbrella rentals were available as well; we borrowed one for dinner outings at night without worrying about dealing with wet umbrellas upon returning to our Room. Overall, staying here was an excellent experience! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The view overlooking the Uji River was wonderful. The large public bath felt surprisingly small. While the building does show its age, the “Semi-Open-Air Bath Deluxe Twin” Room was luxurious.

I was extremely satisfied with everything—the cleanliness of the Facility, the staff’s hospitality, and the breakfast buffet selection! All of the employees were so kind and courteous that I almost felt undeserving… thank you very much! The Room was thoroughly cleaned, so I was able to relax and sleep soundly. I also used the free Shuttle Service on my way back, and the driver was friendly, which made me feel at ease.
