We stayed as a family to celebrate an anniversary. Since it was March, we looked for a villa with a heated pool. We had stayed with Rescape twice before, but were disappointed that we couldn’t see the ocean from the Room, so we chose this property instead. In the end, the ocean view wasn’t very good here either, but it was close enough to step out right away and we could hear the sound of the waves. The layout and flow from the pool to the jacuzzi and then to the bathroom were excellent, and with a full kitchen in the Facility, we were able to relax as if we were at home. There is no restaurant on-site, but they offer ingredient delivery services for BBQ and shabu-shabu, which was very helpful when traveling with children. We would like to visit again. It was my first time staying here. We traveled as a group of five including my parents, and we also used a corner Room. From the moment we arrived at the parking lot, we were warmly welcomed and they helped move our luggage. Check-in was smooth, the explanations were easy to understand, and I appreciated that they kindly offered to explain everything to everyone if we wanted. The Room was more than spacious enough, and the amenities were well stocked. There is also a large public bath, which was clean and very nice. There’s a spot on the rooftop where you can enjoy the view, and I was moved by seeing the sunrise in the morning. The famous breakfast really was incredibly delicious—another highlight. There aren’t any convenience stores nearby, but it’s not an issue if you buy what you need in advance. When I asked about charging my phone, they lent me what I needed right away, which was very helpful. When I visit Ishikawa again, I would definitely like to stay here.

We had a wonderful time with the amazing view and Room. This time we chose a breakfast-only Plan, and it was very delicious with plenty of fresh Hayama vegetables and generous portions. With a later check-out time, we could relax without worrying about the clock, making it a truly great trip. We would love to stay again.

The cuisine, hospitality, and Facility were all outstanding. Meals in particular were wonderful. Each dish was carefully prepared using local ingredients, and I couldn’t wait for the next course to arrive. The staff who served the meals also gave helpful advice on drinks and provided thorough explanations of each dish, so I was able to enjoy dining at a relaxed pace even as a solo female traveler. Breakfast was delicious as well. If I have the chance to visit Izumo again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

Although we arrived at the Hotel just before the hors d’oeuvres and free drinks service ended, the front desk and restaurant staff coordinated well, allowing us to enjoy sparkling wine and more. The food was delicious, and the Hotel staff’s hospitality was excellent, so we had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed with a young child, and we were warmly welcomed, making our stay comfortable and truly memorable. Thanks to being seated in a private dining room, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. In mid-September, our family of six (including two children) stayed here. The Room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for all of us. The high ceilings, carefully selected interior design, and stylish furnishings reflected the owner's attention to detail and made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Although the weather on the first day was unfortunate, it cleared up beautifully on the second day. We were able to enjoy stunning views of both the Southern Alps and Mount Fuji, which harmonized perfectly with the natural surroundings and provided a truly relaxing experience. The vegetables delivered as part of an IKYU special offer were incredibly sweet—unlike anything we had tasted before—and left us deeply impressed. The nearby supermarket recommended by the owner had a great selection of meat that was absolutely delicious; our family thoroughly enjoyed a BBQ together. The Room was impeccably clean, allowing even our crawling child to move around safely—a feature that parents will greatly appreciate! Throughout our stay, the owner’s thoughtful hospitality ensured we had a comfortable time. Our 3-year-old even exclaimed, "I don’t want to leave!" and "We’re coming back every year!"—a testament to how much they loved it here too! We would love to visit again in the future! With breathtaking views of Kouri Bridge and the emerald-green sea, I was able to comfortably balance time at the Hotel with sightseeing around Kouri Island and nearby areas, making for a highly satisfying stay. This time, I stayed solo for three nights. I had visited Kouri Island before on day trips, but this was my first time staying overnight. What impressed me first upon arrival was the beauty of the view from both the lobby and the Room. Looking out over the emerald-green sea, Kouri Bridge, and the sky and greenery beyond the terrace, time naturally felt slower, and I felt it was an environment where you can truly enjoy the stay itself. The Room was spacious, with tasteful furniture and amenities. Both going out exploring and spending time in the Room were comfortable, and even during a Multiple Night Stay I never grew tired of it. Using this Hotel as a base, I also explored northern Okinawa (Cape Hedo and Daisekirinzan). The balance between travel time and relaxing at the Accommodation felt just right, making it an ideal location to enjoy both Kouri Island and northern nature without overextending yourself. Dining at Restaurant “OCTO” also left a strong impression. From octopus paella to vongole bianco, every dish was delicious, and I could take my time enjoying my meal in a calm setting while admiring the view. In addition to three breakfasts included in my Plan, I visited multiple times during my stay—once for lunch and three times for dinner. All of the Hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful—friendly yet respectfully unobtrusive—which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. The limited-time sauna was also memorable. In addition to a poolside sauna setup, using the pool as a cold plunge—and then reclining on chairs in the pool while looking out at Kouri Bridge—made for an exceptionally open-air experience unique to this location. I believe one of this Hotel’s greatest strengths is how well it lets you enjoy both sightseeing and your stay without leaning too far toward either. If given another opportunity, I would love to visit again.

This was the first Hotel where we could enjoy sunrise, sunset, and the night view over the peninsula from our Room. On top of that, the staff’s thoughtfulness was reflected in everything—the spotless cleanliness of the Room, the variety and arrangement of amenities, and even the selection of drinks in the refrigerator. It was simply outstanding. Communicating with the staff and manager was truly comforting, and they were so considerate with the Shuttle Service that we almost felt bad. Even a small comment would be met with “How about this?” as they did everything possible beyond any manual—so much so that we felt we shouldn’t casually mention anything. When we told them it was to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and new job, they created unforgettable memories for us with a handmade bouquet and a champagne toast. Our daughter kept saying to both the staff—and even on our flight home—that she would work hard and definitely come back again. It seems this Accommodation has become a goal for her. There is still so much more I can’t fit here, but among all the Hotels we have stayed at, this became our very best Accommodation. It was a warm place where you could truly feel everyone working together to think about how to make guests happy. Thank you very much. We will be back again.

Throughout our stay, we could feel the Accommodation’s pride and dignity in every detail, and it was a truly fulfilling experience. First, what deserves special mention is the thoroughness of the Room cleaning. Everything was carefully arranged down to the smallest detail, and the spotless space—without a speck of dust—made us feel that the fundamentals of an Accommodation were being upheld at an exceptionally high standard. We were also deeply impressed by the grace of the attendant’s service. Though she was young, she wore traditional attire, moved quietly with no wasted motion, and spoke with gentle refinement. In each gesture we sensed a polished spirit of hospitality; imagining how much effort she must have put in even brought tears to my eyes. (This old man is easily moved.) And above all, what was most outstanding was the exceptional quality of the cuisine. With generous use of premium ingredients, every aspect—the presentation, depth of flavor, and expression of seasonality—was superb. More than anything, I felt that what sustains this high level of service—and its true cornerstone—is the proprietress’s attitude. She consistently leads from the front, encouraging and guiding her staff. I was profoundly moved. These days, Accommodations like this are becoming rare. My wife and I are already talking about returning again in autumn. This is a genuinely outstanding Accommodation where you can experience Japan’s traditional beauty and refined elegance without exaggeration.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in 10 years, and we were able to relax completely thanks to the same warm hospitality as before. Although there was a minor issue, it was resolved immediately, and we were deeply moved by the attentive care of each staff member. After check-out, when we mentioned our plan to visit Miyajima's Mount Misen, we received detailed information about the ferry and tips for navigating Miyajima. Thanks to this guidance, we safely reached the "Eternal Flame" on Mount Misen. Blessed with good weather and beautiful autumn leaves, it turned out to be a perfect trip to Aki. As for meals, everything was delicious. Especially the fugu (pufferfish), which I had been craving for some reason days before—it was truly delightful! However, by the time we got to the final dish of anago rice at dinner, I was too full and couldn't finish it—I felt so sorry about that. But on our way back from Mount Misen, thanks to a staff member who made a reservation at "Ueno," we thoroughly enjoyed their anago bento. The bath in our room wasn't Onsen water; however, my husband remarked again this time that it felt like Onsen water—just as he did during our previous stay—and he kept expressing his admiration. We also loved the free drinks in the lounge—especially how deliciously smooth their sake was! The Onsen itself had wonderful water quality too; Hiroshima must be blessed with great water resources. Our room offered a beautiful view of Miyajima through its window. Watching Seto Inland Sea’s calm waters alongside Miyajima’s mountain ridges glowing under stunning sunrise hues while overlooking meticulously maintained gardens made us sincerely hope that we'll have another chance someday soon to visit again.

The service at Shuhoukaku Kogetsu was excellent overall! The attention to detail was truly impressive. For example, when I noticed my name on the guest list at the entrance and tried to take a photo with my phone, someone approached me, asked where my name was, and offered to help take a picture together. During breakfast, I initially wanted a window seat but it seemed unavailable, so I gave up. Later on, someone specially arranged for us to sit at a four-person table with a view of Mt. Fuji for two people... Small gestures like these made me feel very cared for. Needless to say, the location is fantastic; just like Kosuiantei's accommodations, you can see Mt. Fuji from every room. Waking up in the morning and enjoying hot tea while admiring Mt. Fuji and its reflection directly from the room is my favorite way to experience this place!
