Auberge Mizuakari

This was my first stay. It is a calm Hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, and the Facility and amenities are thoughtfully arranged so guests can stay comfortably. I had a relaxing and comfortable time.Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, but this is just my personal preference: I would have liked dinner to be a little more seasoned, and since the rice at breakfast was very good, it would have been nice to have some pickles.

A circular corridor runs along the central waterfront, with the restaurant wing and hotel wing extending to the left and right. The stylish architecture, inspired by circles and arcs, is truly impressive. The full-course dinner featured creative French cuisine and was absolutely delicious. The wine selection is extensive, and while the draft beer served was Premium Malts, it was offered at a great value. Although there is no large public bath, the spacious bathtub—unlike those in typical Business Hotels—allowed for a relaxing stretch. There are also two saunas outside that can be reserved for enjoyment. Amenities are very well-stocked, including non-instant coffee and cookies that added a touch of luxury to my time in the room. It provided a perfect escape from everyday life. If I have another chance to visit Niigata, I would definitely stay here again!
