Choshi Grand Hotel

Lately, I’ve been staying here every month. This time, for the first time, we had great weather and I was able to see the sunrise. I love rough seas, so I also enjoy the scenery in bad weather. I’d like to come see the big waves during a typhoon. No matter the weather, this is my favorite Hotel and it always satisfies me.\n\nI especially look forward to the individually cooked rice in a pot at dinner every time. I also love the thick, hearty mackerel at breakfast. Thank you for your thoughtful care during dinner.\n\nAll of the staff are welcoming and warm, and it feels very comfortable.\n\nI have one request: I would be happy if there were no limit on the ice pops, or if we could buy extra. A cold ice pop after a bath is the best, so I’d like to have one after every bath.\n\nI’m looking forward to my next visit. I’ve decided to visit again over New Year’s as well.

The staff were all kind and attentive. The meals offered a variety of dishes, including seafood, meat, vegetables, and chawanmushi, all of which were delicious. The large windows in the public bath provided a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and the lighthouse. However, the Onsen's rock bath felt somewhat enclosed. The only downside was that I could clearly hear loud footsteps from the floor above.
