HOTEL AZ Yamaguchi Iwakuni Branch

AZ HOTEL Group has been used more than 10 times. I have stayed at the Iwakuni location multiple times. Previously, I stayed in a twin room, but this time I tried a single room for the first time. The amenities and services were completely satisfactory. However, the lace curtain on the window of Room 440 was torn and worn out. Additionally, the air conditioning remote control was difficult to understand, making it impossible to select cooling, heating, or dry modes—only temperature adjustment was possible. Setting it to 21°C felt too cold; raising it to 25°C finally made it comfortable enough.The air conditioner in this room was noisier compared to other rooms I've stayed in before. The bathroom ventilation fan also produced a more noticeable sound than usual.Breakfast was included with my stay, so I enjoyed the buffet. While similar to other AZ HOTEL locations where there are no jams available for bread (which feels slightly lacking), everything else about breakfast was satisfying. Being able to start breakfast from 6:00 AM helped as I had urgent plans that morning.There is a microwave located behind the front desk; however, I didn’t notice it during check-in as there were no mentions of its location in the facility guide provided in my room. Although I've stayed here several times before, since I frequently stay at various hotels elsewhere too, having its location noted clearly would be helpful.The hotel is somewhat inconveniently located far from both highways—Iwakuni Interchange and Otake Interchange—and nearby roads often experience heavy traffic during evenings or peak hours when traveling by car.Among AZ HOTEL locations overall though—this one stands out due being large-scale with many rooms available! Occasionally overlapping stays alongside sports teams/groups may lead towards noise disturbances like door slamming sounds etc., yet thankfully none occurred throughout current visit itself!Soundproofing remains average typical across business hotels alike where sneezes next-door neighbors audible walking hallways alarm clocks surrounding areas heard faintly instead otherwise manageable given price-point value-for-money ratio entirely reasonable without complaints whatsoever!Lastly hoping expansion into regions lacking presence especially Shimane/Tottori prefectures soon possible future developments ahead!

This was my second stay. Last time, I stayed here for one night to rest after visiting Karato Market in Shimonoseki from Fukuoka and stopping by Kintaikyo Bridge before heading to Okayama. This time, I stayed with my family of three and used a twin room and a single room. While it is primarily a Business Hotel catering to business travelers, both the lobby and rooms are exceptionally clean for a Business Hotel. This time, we had dinner at the izakaya attached to the Hotel. The food was plentiful, delicious, reasonably priced, and it was great to enjoy meals at the Hotel while relaxing with beer (and some shochu). Considering that breakfast is free in the morning, it was satisfying as well. I will definitely stay again! AZ Hotel offers excellent value for money across its locations!
