Shizuya KYOTO

I stayed in a women-only private room. The room was stylish, and the futon was spacious enough. The bath, toilets, and wash area were all kept very clean. Paid amenities were also affordable—some items were available for just 100 yen, which was really helpful. It was also great that I could drink water, tea, and coffee for free. I heard the water is pumped from groundwater, and it tasted amazing.The other guests had good manners as well, so I slept soundly at night.The owner at reception and the female staff were very polite and helpful, and they even stored my luggage after checkout, which helped a lot.On my way out, I also received a card for free amenities to use next time.I’m grateful to have received this level of service for under 5,000 yen. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

Just a short walk from Kyoto Station, the access was excellent. The Room felt like a secret base, which was exciting. With a lockable door, security was reassuring, and it was very comfortable to stay. Thank you for kindly accommodating our request to store large luggage before check-in! Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy our day of travel comfortably. Additionally, the shower and toilet facilities were clean, and having lotion and moisturizer available was a nice touch.
