Hotel Takeshima

I planned a stay at Hotel Takeshima, a place my grandfather brought me to many times when I was younger, now that I’m employed. We originally planned to drive, but ended up taking the train at short notice; the Shuttle Service from Gamagori Station was smooth and very helpful. Since my grandparents have slowed down a lot when walking, we were able to borrow a wheelchair inside the Hotel and spend the time before check-in comfortably. We had lunch at Tokiwa and were also able to take them to the aquarium. They happily did lots of shopping at the shop, enjoyed plenty of delicious food for both dinner and breakfast, took baths several times, and loved the view from our Room.With all the support from everyone at the Hotel, my grandparents were truly delighted, and it became a trip full of wonderful memories. I hope they stay healthy in both body and mind so we can travel again. Thank you very much to all the staff.

We stayed in a relatively new room with a private open-air bath; the view was great, it was quiet, and we could truly relax. The large public bath felt a bit dated in terms of Facility... I noticed stains on the orange sofa in the room and hesitated to sit on it. The Takeshima pudding in the refrigerator was very delicious. Dinner was excellent: cold dishes were served cold, hot dishes were served hot, and everything was timed perfectly.
