LONGINGHOUSE Old Karuizawa・Suwanomori

It’s a great Hotel.The Room was spacious, and the food was delicious. (We chose a Plan with breakfast included, and had à la carte for dinner.) The staff were also very kind.This isn’t specific to this Hotel, but since it applies to Karuizawa in general, those used to 24-hour convenience stores should be aware. There are very few convenience stores or shops where you can buy things at night (pretty much only near the station). So it may be worth preparing in advance.Even so, it was a great Hotel.We stayed for one night this time, but next time we’d like to do a Multiple Night Stay.

We stayed here after having a wedding ceremony at another hotel. Our room was upgraded for free as there was availability, allowing us to stay in a better room than the one we had reserved. The facility included items like ReFa, which reduced our travel luggage and allowed us to use high-quality products—a double benefit. We visited the hotel's bar, and the food was delicious, leaving us very satisfied. The location is very convenient, being close to Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza Street, making it easy to get around. The private bath was also very clean and enjoyable.
