Arcadia Resort Miyakojima

The building had a solid, luxurious feel—truly an upscale villa. When I entered the Room, everything was coordinated with calm-toned furniture, and I was able to relax completely. I was told that every Room comes with a private pool and jacuzzi, and they were even better than I imagined. It felt less like staying at a villa Hotel in Japan and more like being at an overseas villa Hotel. Of all the Hotels I’ve stayed at, this was the one where I felt the most privacy. What’s more, the refrigerator in the Room was stocked with plenty of drinks—water, juice, tea, Orion beer—and everything was free of charge. Even after drinking them on the first day, complimentary drinks were replenished again the next day.During my stay, not only were the Facility offerings wonderful, but I was also comforted by the staff’s attentive, kind, and gentle service.We added both breakfast and dinner for three days, and I was surprised that every meal came with a different menu. It never got repetitive—I could enjoy delicious food every day.Best of all, when you Reserve a Room you receive a complimentary rental car. When I visited Miyakojima before, making a rental car Reservation was difficult. During peak season it can cost as much as your Hotel stay, and just searching for an affordable option is hard work. Being able to use a rental car without that hassle was truly great.Before staying here I thought it might be a bit expensive; however considering the quality of the meals plus the complimentary rental car and all those free drinks in the refrigerator, it actually felt like excellent value.

Stayed with my daughter’s family, including her husband and child, as well as my spouse—two families in total. The room was very clean, the pool was spacious with a jacuzzi, and it was beautifully lit up at night. The ocean view right in front of the room added to the full resort experience. The hotel provided shuttle service from the airport, and a rental car was prepared right in front of our villa room. The refrigerator was fully stocked with complimentary fruit juices and beers. There were plenty of towels available—separate ones for use inside the room and others for outdoor use—as well as beach sandals and bags provided for convenience. A free laundry facility made it easy to wash swimwear. The amenities were also high-quality with many options available. Breakfast on the first day featured Japanese cuisine, while Western-style breakfast was served on the second day; both meals were visually appealing and delicious. Since our grandchild is a picky eater, we didn’t have dinner at the accommodation but it looked equally appetizing from what we saw. Although prices are higher during summer season, all staff members were kind, making this stay an enjoyable family experience filled with wonderful memories!
