FEXSTAY INN Kashima Central

My last business trip of the year was to Kashima. This time, for the first time in three months, I stayed again at Flexstay Inn Kashima Central. Since it was a one-night stay, I arrived around 6:00 p.m. The renovation work seemed to be finished and the place felt newly reopened, but I did not use the affiliated Onsen Facility. Last time, the Christmas decorations at ART Hotel Central were wonderful... and this time I was amazed by the Hina Matsuri display—Hina dolls covering an entire staircase. Will there be decorations for Boys’ Day in May as well? I’m very curious. The seasonal decorations are truly impressive. I travel to Kashima frequently for work, so I think I will stay at Flexstay Inn Kashima Central again next time. Although I only book room-only stays, I’m always surprised by how inexpensive the bento boxes are at the TAIYO supermarket next door. The location is excellent and reasonably priced, making it my go-to Hotel for business trips to Kashima.

The facility shows some signs of aging, but considering the price, it was more than satisfactory. However, during my previous stay in September, a body towel was provided as an amenity, but this time it was missing, which was slightly disappointing. That said, there is no other hotel in this location that offers online reservations and such reasonable rates. I would definitely like to use it again next time.
