Yukemuri no Yado Hanayui

I was worried about getting there, but the Onsen with the open-air bath was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful and impressive. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

We stayed as a family of five (couple, college-aged daughter, high school daughter, and middle school son). The two-room Japanese-style accommodation was spacious and comfortable. Since our youngest has a health condition and eats very little, we consulted with the staff about meal portions. They kindly adjusted the portions and allowed us to share adult meals, even adjusting the cost accordingly. Thanks to their thoughtfulness, we were able to enjoy all the delicious food without waste.The complimentary yukata service for women delighted our two daughters! We chose this accommodation because we wanted to stroll through the onsen town with its stone-paved streets. We immediately borrowed lanterns and went out to take some picturesque photos. The onsen in a separate building wasn’t very large but felt exclusive as we visited later in the evening and had it all to ourselves!Not only were we satisfied with the onsen and meals, but also deeply touched by the warm hospitality of the staff at this wonderful accommodation. Although there are no vending machines available, drinks are sold at reception until 10 PM. We brought plenty of drinks with us beforehand so it wasn’t an issue.If I had one suggestion for improvement—it would be great if there were more than one hairdryer in the bath area since drying hair took time when my daughters and I used it together. However, overall it was such a relaxing stay that left us with cherished memories.Although it's far from Aichi Prefecture where we're from, I hope we'll have another chance to visit someday!
