EN HOTEL Ise

We stayed for two nights while sightseeing. The Room was clean and spacious, and the meals were delicious.It was disappointing that we couldn’t adjust the air conditioning. It was raining on the day of check-out, so we asked for a taxi.However, perhaps because the distance was so short, the taxi driver was unfriendly. We were told to pay an entrance fee and go to the other side of the station.It made us sad on our last day.I think there would be no problem when traveling by car or when the weather is good.

I have stayed here multiple times when visiting Toba Aquarium. Unlike the south side near Ise Jingu Geku, the north side has fewer restaurants but offers a supermarket and a drugstore (with food), which is convenient for someone like me who doesn't use restaurants. As a solo traveler, I appreciate that two sets of cups and towels are provided. Personally, I like to use two face towels and cups even for a one-night stay. It's also great that the Room comes with a built-in luggage rack, as many places now only offer them upon request. This time, I tried using the self-check-in machine for the first time. The display was vertical to the floor, so my name, address, and phone number were shown in large text on-screen—this made me slightly uneasy. Luckily, there was no one behind me in line at that moment in the lobby! Other than this issue, everything else was satisfactory. The curtains are not fully blackout ones so light does come through in the morning; however, an eye mask or other solutions can easily address this.Since there are very few business hotels near Toba Station, this place is especially recommended for those traveling by train to visit Toba Aquarium! (For those heading to Ise Jingu Geku or Naiku Shrine areas instead might find accommodations on the south side more convenient.) In future stays here though I'll opt for front desk check-ins again—and look forward to returning soon!
