Delicious Inn Shikishima Jozankei Villa

This is an accommodation I had always wanted to stay at. Since I visited on a weekday, I was able to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time in the serene facility. During my previous stay at another newer hotel in Jozankei, I felt cold due to drafts from the window, but this accommodation was very warm and comfortable. The room was thoughtfully designed with furniture and layout, making it feel more spacious than its listed size. Personally, I think adding multiple cushions to the chairs would have been a nice touch. The meals were excellent. Both dinner and breakfast featured plenty of locally sourced ingredients from Hokkaido, offering stylish and delicious dishes. The inari sushi provided as a late-night snack was also a thoughtful gesture. The onsen is somewhat small but since there were few guests during my stay, I could enjoy it leisurely. The bath area was well-maintained and clean. Additionally, the service of providing bottled water for guests to take back to their rooms after bathing was appreciated.I would love to visit again during the green season next time! Joined my husband's business trip to Sapporo. Instead of city sightseeing, I wanted to visit an Onsen, so we stayed in Jozankei. It was a quiet and peaceful accommodation. The meals were creative and delicious. The most memorable part was the breakfast "crispy soy sauce." I also enjoyed relaxing in the Onsen. Thank you very much!
