We Base Kyoto

Thank you for sincerely addressing our requests. It was incredibly helpful. The Room was compact but very comfortable. The convenience was excellent, and I would love to stay again.

I went with high expectations to a highly-rated hostel, and I was convinced by everyone's reviews. First, the reception was handled by a foreigner, but they kindly and fluently explained everything in Japanese. The room I reserved was a single-use bunk bed, but it was simple and equipped with necessary facilities, allowing for a comfortable stay. Having a TV can lead to idly leaving it on, but without one, it was nice to have a clear sense of how to use my time. The lounge, showers, and toilets in the facility were also clean and simple, providing a great sense of satisfaction. The only issue was that the shower had almost no space to place luggage. While this might be fine for foreigners, I think it would be nice for Japanese guests to have a basket to put clothes in. I was also looking forward to the breakfast in the lounge. For a hostel breakfast, it was quite substantial and sufficient. I'll attach an image. I would like to use it again when I visit Kyoto.
