Unlike an overly large property, this is a cozy Onsen Accommodation. The meals, too, were not like those at a huge facility—more than satisfying while still feeling just right. Breakfast was equally excellent. The strongly acidic Onsen is rare in Hokkaido, and it was truly wonderful. There were few foreign guests, so we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. Next time, I’d like to stay here with my parents.

This accommodation in Hokkaido, one of the few offering an all-inclusive style, allows guests to enjoy drinks and alcohol without additional charges, making it highly appealing. The exceptional quality of the Kawayu Onsen water and the time spent in a modern space were truly outstanding. However, as this unique concept is being promoted, there are areas for improvement both in terms of service and facilities. The meals feature delicious dishes made with local ingredients from Hokkaido; however, it was disappointing that the menu remained exactly the same even during a multiple night stay. Additionally, the crab legs were overly salty. The lack of late-night snacks within the facility and no food items available at the shop felt inconvenient as well. Operationally, ending lounge services and ice cream offerings at 10 PM feels too early. Extending these services until at least 11 PM would allow guests to enjoy a relaxing drink or treat after bathing at their own pace. With its excellent onsen foundation and concept already in place, enhancing considerations for multiple night stays and improving nighttime services would elevate this accommodation into an unparalleled experience with even higher guest satisfaction levels.
