HOTEL AZ Yamaguchi Tokuyama

Stayed here to catch an early morning ferry. The accommodation is conveniently located near the port, and having breakfast available from 6 AM was very helpful (the bread was also delicious). It’s also conveniently close to the station. The bath was easy to use with adjustable water temperature and separate water flow controls for both the shower and faucet. However, adjusting the room temperature was a bit tricky, as it tended to be set higher than intended, which was a downside.

The building is a bit old, but it is well-maintained and clean. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, making my stay pleasant. The breakfast exceeded expectations with a variety of options including raw eggs and mentaiko. Considering the recent rise in accommodation prices, I appreciate the effort to maintain such quality at this price point. I would love to stay here again.
