Nozawa Onsen Asahiya Ryokan

This was my second time staying in Nozawa Onsen, and I wanted to try a different accommodation from last time. After reading various reviews online, I decided on this place. There are many public onsen baths near the accommodation, and I enjoyed visiting several of them. The large bath at the accommodation alternates between night and morning use, and since the autumn leaves were beautiful at the time, soaking in the bath while enjoying the view was amazing! The provided amenities were from POLA, which was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious—I even had three bowls of rice! The staff members were very kind; it felt almost unfair to pay such a reasonable price for such great service. If I had to mention one downside, as noted in other reviews as well, it would be that the futon mattress was thin with just one layer, making it slightly uncomfortable to sleep on. However, overall, I was extremely satisfied! I'd love to stay here again!

This was my first stay, and the front desk staff were very pleasant. The meals included both beef and pork, which were very delicious. The Onsen would have been even better with an open-air bath, but the guest room had been beautifully renovated and was great. I was fortunate to find parking available right in front of the Ryokan, which was very convenient. I will visit again!
