Irago Cape Local Fish Inn Takanoya

This was my second visit. This time, I came to enjoy seasonal fugu dishes. From sashimi, fried fugu, hot pot, to fugu porridge... along with thickly sliced boat platters, boiled crab, and steamed egg custard—everything was fresh and served in generous portions. It was absolutely delicious and satisfying. The proprietress and staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more relaxing. I enjoyed a luxurious escape in a beautifully renovated Room. Traveling with my dog limits our options for destinations, so I truly appreciate the relaxed pet policies here... Of course, we always follow the rules for guests with pets as we look forward to visiting again!

Because options are limited when traveling with a dog, I really appreciate that this Accommodation allows dogs. I had read the Reviews, so for bathing we received a discount voucher for Irago Ocean Resort, and since we had our dog with us, my husband and I took turns using it. The meals were delicious, including fresh sashimi served on a boat platter. The Room and toilet were also clean. The entrance was under construction, so we went in and out through what felt like a back entrance—hopefully it will be nicely updated soon. I’d love to stay again in a different season if possible. As guests traveling with dogs, we will follow proper manners so that dogs continue to be welcome.
