Ushiku City Hotel Ekimae-kan

I stayed at Ushiku City Hotel for one night again this time. As with my previous stay, I was very satisfied. The elderly staff at the front desk provided pleasant service, and I am grateful for that. I use this accommodation several times a year and would like to stay again. Thank you in advance for your hospitality when that time comes.

It was my first time staying at a Business Hotel, and I was surprised by how spacious the corner Room was. The air conditioning allowed me to adjust the temperature myself, the shower had good water pressure, the hairdryer had strong airflow, and everything was cleaned thoroughly. There was a small mirror that made me happy because it was the same as what I use at home, but having a full-length mirror would have been even better. I forgot my facial cleanser and ended up using body soap to wash my face. Maybe that's normal for Business Hotels? Still, having facial cleanser available would have been nice. Also, there were only bath towels and hand towels provided; since I used them at night, I didn’t have anything to dry my face with in the morning after washing it and had to use tissues instead. The biggest issue for me was that there wasn’t a bath mat. After taking a bath, I wrapped myself in a bath towel and used another towel (which I had wrapped around my head) as an improvised bath mat when stepping out of the tub. A proper bath mat would have been appreciated! Overall though, it was really great! I'd love to stay here again!
