Tenjuku no Mori Keigetsu

This was our second stay. Last time, we stayed shortly after the detached guest room had been renovated, on our way back from a Kyushu trip for our wedding anniversary. This time, we visited for my birthday trip.Although there is some age-related wear to the tatami mats and other areas, everything was very clean and well maintained, and we had a comfortable stay. As before, the amount of food was very generous—sorry we couldn’t finish it all. Last time was in winter, and since there were cherry trees, we talked about how amazing the view must be during cherry blossom season. This time, we were able to stay in the same detached room again and enjoy the open-air bath while looking at fully blooming cherry blossoms—it truly made us feel happy.The staff member who served our meal kindly took photos for us as we were leaving and even saw us off.It was only one night, but thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

On the way from Yamaguchi to Akiyoshido Cave, I had thought from the logo’s vibe that it looked like a high-end Accommodation, and this time I decided to stay. The staff were wonderful, and it felt like a relaxing Accommodation where you can truly sense their hospitality. The meals in particular—both dinner and breakfast—were served at just the right temperature: hot dishes were hot (really hot?), and cold dishes were cold. There was plenty of food, but everything was delicious and I finished it all. The bath was also very nice. If possible, I’d like to stay again.
