Beppu Kouraku

The staff's service was excellent. The room was a Japanese-style room, very clean, and extremely comfortable to stay in. The room had large windows with a great view, making it a relaxing space. This is an accommodation I would love to use again if I have the chance.

I traveled with my dog and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very kind to my dog, making the experience pleasant. The food was delicious, and the Onsen was very relaxing. There was a space to wash dogs, which was spacious enough for small dogs, and being able to use Onsen water for washing them was great. Nearby, there is a sandy beach (possibly a swimming area?) and a well-maintained park where we enjoyed walking. Families with small children would likely enjoy it in summer as well. Since the back of the Hotel faces the sea, I woke up early hoping to see the sunrise over the horizon; however, it rose from behind the mountains instead! (laughs) Still, it was beautiful and soothing scenery. The next day, we enjoyed visiting "Jigoku Meguri," which allows dogs to enter as well. Since we stayed on a weekday, both at the Hotel and during sightseeing activities everything felt dog-friendly for an enjoyable trip together with my pet. I forgot something in our Room but received prompt assistance from staff who quickly sent it back to me—this really helped!
