Natural Hot Spring Goshono-yu Super Hotel Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

The service and hospitality were excellent. The front desk staff provided courteous assistance, including detailed explanations about the amusement facilities, which was very satisfying. However, due to an air conditioning malfunction on the 3rd floor where the front desk and dining facility are located, we had to take our breakfast to-go and eat in our Room. It was disappointing as we were looking forward to enjoying a leisurely time at the drink bar. The Room was clean and comfortable.

The drink time starting at 6 PM was excellent. Although there was no beer, there were options like highball, sake, plum wine, and chu-hi, allowing you to enjoy your preferred style of drinking. Since many shops in Nishiki Market catered to foreign tourists, we purchased deli items and bento boxes from the department store basement for dinner. The plum wine was especially delicious (enjoyed on the rocks). For breakfast, freshly baked bread was continuously prepared, and a good variety of side dishes were available. Many young staff members efficiently sanitized tables and worked briskly, which left a refreshing impression. Due to my misunderstanding or mistake, I borrowed a futon set as well. My companion also greatly enjoyed the stay. It’s a hotel I would love to stay at again. Thank you very much!
