My spouse and I stayed for one night starting Fri, 3/27. We wanted to eat crab, so we chose this Accommodation. It was a truly lovely Accommodation with a warm, old-fashioned charm—personally, I really loved it.You take off your shoes at the entrance, and from the moment you arrive there’s a nostalgic atmosphere. After check-in, the proprietress even selected yukata in sizes that suited our height—such thoughtful attention to detail. It reminded me of traveling with my family as a child, when attendants would choose yukata for us as well, and it made me feel pleasantly nostalgic.There isn’t a tea set in the Room, but the lobby has tea bags and instant coffee available, which you can freely take back to your Room. That casual style was nice. The futons were already laid out, and the mattress was surprisingly plush—my husband has back pain but still slept soundly without any issues. We chose a Room with an open-air bath; it was an atmospheric rock bath that stayed wonderfully warm, so we could relax and enjoy it both at night and in the morning.All staff members—including the proprietress—were very friendly and kind. One memorable moment was when they immediately noticed I wasn’t wearing socks on my way to the dining area; they brought me tabi socks saying, “Don’t let yourself get cold.”Dinner includes all-you-can-drink alcohol. They remembered how happy I was about that at check-in and thoughtfully arranged seats close to the all-you-can-drink area—I really appreciated it. There aren’t many staff members, but because of that it’s set up in a self-serve style you can enjoy at your own pace; getting drinks freely whenever you want felt easygoing. You can also cook items like grilled dishes or hot pot at your own pace, which made for an unhurried evening.The full crab-course dinner was delicious across the board. Staff checked in at just the right times and even taught us how to crack and eat crab—the sense of distance was perfect, so we could relax and enjoy our meal. The finishing rice porridge was especially satisfying: first as-is, then again after mixing in crab miso for a second flavor variation.When my husband accidentally spilled coffee in the dining area as well, they didn’t look displeased at all—instead they smiled and said something like “That’s perfect timing—I can clean now,” which truly moved me with their warmth.Unlike modern Facilities or luxury Hotels, this Accommodation felt nostalgic—a place that genuinely values human warmth above all else.

The open-air bath in the Room was available 24 hours a day, and the water was slightly on the hot side—just the way I like it. After arriving in the evening, I enjoyed a relaxing soak three times before checking out the next morning. The meals weren’t an all-out crab feast, but they were more than delicious enough. The Ryokan building also had a charming atmosphere. I’d love to visit again.
