Hotel Sundays Amami

This was my second stay.I really appreciate that the coin laundry (washing and drying) is free.The large public bath doesn’t have an open-air bath, but it does have a dry sauna, and I was happy to find SEKKISEI cleansing oil, toner, and emulsion provided as well!

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of three nights in a single Room. Although it faces the port, it was quiet, and the location overlooks an athletic park with trucks in front. It’s also very convenient—about a 10-minute walk from central Naze. The parking lot is flat, spacious, and easy to use.The first-floor lobby from the entrance to the front desk is large and uncluttered, with none of the cramped, dark feel common in a Business Hotel. It feels pleasant like a Resort Hotel lobby. A few more chairs would have been nice. Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to prepayment, and the staff were excellent.It was a single Room, but the bed was double-sized—spacious and very comfortable. The Room isn’t large, but it didn’t feel cramped at all and was very pleasant—perhaps because of the wide window. The layout of the sink area, toilet, and shower booth worked well; it was an appropriate size and easy to use. The Facility felt new and clean. There is also a large public bath on the 10th floor, so I didn’t mind even if I only used the shower. I stayed on an eco Plan; everything was convenient except that there were no pajamas (which should have been replaceable daily), so I had to contact the front desk.The restaurant on the first floor is spacious and comfortable. I only used it for the breakfast buffet.Since my Room was on the third floor, when I opened the window I could smell exhaust from the restaurant ventilation fan on the first floor—that was my only disappointment.Considering value for money, I think this is an excellent Hotel. It seems there are higher-grade Rooms as well, so next time I’d like to stay in one of those.
