Hotel Forza Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

Because the weather was great over the three-day weekend, Hotels were expensive everywhere, so I stayed here for the first time. It was a quick trip and I only needed a place to sleep, but the Room was cleaner and more comfortable than expected. The front desk and lounge are in the basement and felt very spacious. In the lounge, I could enjoy Tsujiri matcha latte and Japanese sake. Having a separate bath and toilet at this price point is greatly appreciated. The bathroom was also large and clean. The washbasin area is a bit small, but acceptable. As mentioned in other Reviews, most guests were foreigners; from what I saw, we were among the few Japanese guests. It felt a little unusual, but it was quiet at night and comfortable. I visit Kyoto often, so I’ll consider staying here again.

I always stay here when visiting Kyoto. The room is simply equipped with all the essentials, without any unnecessary items, making it very convenient. With slightly dim lighting and a quiet room, I was able to relax comfortably. This time, during the strongest cold wave, I opened the floor-to-ceiling blinds at night and enjoyed the beautiful sight of snow falling from above and swirling up from below. The location is very convenient for getting anywhere, which I really appreciate. The front desk staff were very kind and had wonderful smiles. This is an accommodation I hope will remain unchanged in its charm. I will definitely stay here again!
