Nasu Onsen Shinshun no Kago / Hewitt Resort

I had been suffering from sciatica for about a month, so I came to rest and take it easy. The pain eased, and I feel much better now.It was very quiet and relaxing, and the meals were excellent. I would like to visit again.Thank you for the thoughtful care from the staff.

I made a Reservation about a week before our stay on a whim. Since we were traveling with our 18-month-old daughter, I had various concerns, but the staff were wonderful and it became a truly memorable stay.From the entrance to the lounge, the interior feels luxurious, and from the moment you step inside you can enjoy an escape from everyday life. The lounge features a fireplace and has a calm atmosphere where you can relax with a drink.From 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, complimentary non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available in the lounge. What surprised me most was how extensive the selection was.My husband and I love drinks, so this service made us very happy. There were so many options—local beer, local sake, wine by the glass, whiskey, and original cocktails—that it was hard to choose.We headed straight to the lounge after arrival and enjoyed beer, local sake, and whiskey.Our Room had a semi-open-air Onsen bath just beyond a glass partition. Opening the glass door connects directly to the bath. The scent of sulfur filled the Room and really made us feel we had arrived at an Onsen destination.And most importantly—the meals were among the best we’ve ever had. The dishes used plenty of seasonal vegetables and ingredients at their peak; they were beautiful to look at and delicious to eat—truly outstanding cuisine.We booked our daughter without meals included, but thanks to your kindness we received rice and seasoned seaweed for her, which she loved. When she became fussy later on, staff kindly spoke with her and kept her company so we could enjoy our meal at ease.We went to the large public bath first thing in the morning and were able to enjoy it privately without running into other guests.Breakfast was also excellent.Thank you very much for exceeding our expectations—we would love to visit again.
