The cuisine is absolutely amazing, making it a definite repeat! I’ll recommend it to everyone around me! The staff provided personalized service that matched our enjoyment, and we’re truly grateful for that! The room bath was clean, and we lost count of how many times we used it—haha! It’s such an incredible accommodation that I want to recommend it but worry it might become too popular for us to make a reservation again!

I made the reservation well in advance as this accommodation is hard to book, even though I usually decide on accommodations at the last minute. Dinner here is very filling, so I adjusted my lunch accordingly. The meals are something to look forward to! Check-in was at 3 PM, and we were welcomed with small sweets and tea—a pleasant surprise, though nothing extraordinary. This time, we stayed in a mountain-side room. Since food was our main focus, it suited us perfectly. We enjoyed the first bath in the open-air onsen thanks to thoughtful arrangements by the staff. The winter sunset was stunning despite strong winds—it’s all about timing and luck! The onsen has a refreshing ocean scent that leaves your skin smooth. The temperature is just right for long baths, and I found myself using the private open-air bath in our room multiple times.However, depending on your room's location above the kitchen area, you might notice strong cooking smells during certain hours or even cigarette odors from staff—something to consider if you're sensitive to such scents. On a positive note for mountain-side rooms: there’s no concern about people passing by like there might be with sea-side rooms.After enjoying the baths thoroughly, we headed to dinner at the restaurant where service staff warmly greeted us. Throughout dinner service—the lighting, ambiance, and attentiveness of staff were all very comfortable.The dishes were meticulously prepared with excellent dashi broth as their base—showcasing seasonal ingredients beautifully presented with carefully chosen tableware. As avid food enthusiasts who enjoy dining out frequently, we appreciated these details but also noticed some repetition in menu items over visits or slight inconsistencies like serving temperatures.Breakfast included standard dried fish offerings but felt slightly repetitive overall; perhaps more variety could enhance it further? While they seem proud of their patisserie offerings for dessert (dessert), they didn’t quite stand out compared to other elements of our meal experience—perhaps exploring Japanese sweets or simpler fruit-based options could add appeal?This accommodation allows you an easy stay without needing much preparation beforehand—a rare find! While my comments may sound critical at times (for future quality improvements), every visit here leaves me satisfied overall.Lastly: don’t miss out on visiting their night bar! Delicious drinks await alongside skilled bartenders offering unique experiences—highly recommended!
