Raku Suisan, Niseko

As the ski season was winding down, I was looking for an Accommodation in Niseko and chose Rakusui-san because it has only a small number of Rooms. It turned out to be the perfect choice, and I was truly impressed by the staff’s hospitality. It’s an ideal Accommodation for a quiet, stay-in retreat. Since I was traveling with my elderly mother, this was especially important to me, and I’m grateful to every staff member for their wonderful service. The entire property is spotless and feels very clean wherever you look. Our Room was also very spacious and open, and the view of Mt. Yotei standing right in front of us was incredibly soothing. The bath is roomy as well, with 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water straight from the source; the water quality is excellent and warms you through. Open the window and it becomes like an open-air bath—amazing! There seems to be a Plan without meals, but I absolutely recommend choosing the Plan with breakfast and dinner—the meals are carefully prepared and outstanding. 　If I had to mention just one thing: when traveling with elderly guests, it may be better to request a Room closer to the lounge. We agreed to take the farthest Room because we prioritized the bath materials, but since there’s a slightly sloped corridor, going back and forth to the lounge seemed a bit challenging for an older person. 　Even so, considering everything included, it offers excellent value for money—Done that we’ll return. We stayed at an Onsen Accommodation in Niseko for our family’s first ski trip.It certainly isn’t cheap, but even setting the price aside, it was an Accommodation that genuinely felt like “a special time.”Niseko in winter is full of international visitors and can easily feel lively, but once you step into this Accommodation, it’s surprisingly calm. It felt pleasantly removed from the bustle, making it a very comfortable place for our family to relax and spend time together.The Onsen was on the cooler side, which made it easy even for our child to enjoy and stay in comfortably for a long time. Warming up slowly after skiing while sharing that time as a family is a memory unique to this trip.On clear days, Mount Yotei looked absolutely beautiful from the Accommodation, and that view alone made us feel staying here was worth it. Spending time watching the mountain change throughout the morning and evening helped us forget everyday life.The only disappointment was that the battery in the Room safe was dead, so we couldn’t use it. Even so, our overall satisfaction was high, and it became a stay we’ll clearly remember as our family’s first ski trip.
