Beachside Onsen Resort Yuumi

The food was so delicious and the Onsen, including a private open-air bath, was wonderful. Since it’s also close to Tokyo, this was our second stay. Although it’s called a semi-private dining room, it felt like a private room, and we enjoyed delicious meals and another lovely time as always. The grilled live abalone was especially delicious. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here for an anniversary trip.The shuttle service from the station to the accommodation was punctual. The interior of the accommodation had a modern feel, which I personally liked. Although we stayed in a room without an open-air bath, we were amazed by the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji and the ocean from our room. We didn’t experience any inconvenience with the facility during our stay. I especially appreciated being able to use the coffee machine and water dispenser in the free lounge anytime, 24/7! As two smokers traveling together, enjoying delicious coffee on the balcony while admiring the beautiful scenery was simply perfect!We also used a private bath twice—on our check-in day and again in the morning—and were very satisfied! As for indoor baths, perhaps because it was a weekday or just good timing, we had them all to ourselves and could relax completely.Meals were served in a private room by a window with views of both Mt. Fuji and the ocean. Since they seated us at an inner table away from foot traffic, we weren’t disturbed by other guests’ footsteps or voices at all and could enjoy both dinner and breakfast leisurely.However, there were some points that bothered me... When staff members prepared meals in the hallway outside our room, there was quite a bit of noise from clattering dishes. While they may have been rushed or flustered at that moment, I think it would be better if they handled things more carefully. Additionally, during checkout when settling payment directly in front of my companion—it felt inconsiderate as this trip was meant as a gift surprise; I would have preferred more discretion regarding costs under such circumstances.That said—thanks to special coupons and point usage through IKYU.com—we managed to book this stay affordably!
