    We stayed here as a family.

    We stayed to celebrate our daughter’s university acceptance. We had requested a congratulatory plate in the Room in advance, and it was arranged at just the right time, so everything went perfectly. Even though we hadn’t ordered it, they also prepared non-alcoholic champagne and a strawberry platter, which delighted our strawberry-loving daughter. Thank you for your thoughtful service. The entire Room felt very clean, and the night view from the 48th floor was spectacular. With the late check-out benefit, we were able to relax at length. Valet parking was prompt and courteous when retrieving the car, and at check-out they asked during payment, “Shall we have your car ready?”—their efficiency really stood out. I told the front desk staff member, “It was perfect,” before leaving the Hotel. We achieved what we hoped for, felt very comfortable throughout our stay, and were highly satisfied thanks to the great coordination between valet parking and the front desk. Thank you very much.

    It was very comforta...

    It was very comfortable. They responded quickly to my requests. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. It would have been even better if the amenities were more fully stocked.

    Recommended for guests who want to relax and unwind.

    I’d been curious about Andaz for a while, but visited without particularly high expectations. I’ve stayed at several Hotels around Toranomon and long-established Ryokans in other regions, and in the past there were times when my mood was dampened by small things—great Rooms and views but service that bothered me, or glasses in the Room that weren’t clean. This time at Andaz, the hospitality, Room, view, and services were all excellent, and I was able to relax comfortably—I’m very satisfied. That said, I didn’t expect the club lounge to be quite compact. The pool was closed for inspection so I couldn’t use it, which gives me even more reason to come back.

    It was a bit disappointing.

    I had to wait a long time at check-in. When I finally received the room key and went to the Room, the key didn’t work. A staff member who happened to pass by helped me open it. The lobby was lively but felt a bit unsettling. There were several amenities I wished had been placed in the Room from the beginning, which was inconvenient.

    Even during a busy time, your kindness made our stay very comfortable!

    As most guests are inbound travelers, there are only a few Reviews on IKYU, and I was worried after seeing some harsh comments—but it turned out to be completely unfounded. Everyone was truly kind, and thanks to the bell staff at the entrance, the check-in/check-out team, the spa staff, the restaurant team, and everyone who assisted us, we had a wonderful start to the new year. Thank you so much! The breakfast buffet in particular was outstanding—the selection, presentation, and variety were simply impressive. At the fruit corner, I enjoyed not only melon, persimmon, pear, and dragon fruit but also delicious fully ripe pomegranate for the first time! Whenever I had questions or requests—about necessary amenities and items as well as IKYU Diamond benefits—they responded immediately. They also shared so much information about the art throughout the hotel. Thank you again. I would love to visit again!

    It was excellent.

    Stayed with my parents (3 people in total). The evening snack service was much more extensive compared to our previous stay. We could enjoy the fireworks perfectly from our room. All the staff, including housekeeping, were polite and attentive in a modest way, which made us very happy. The facility is great, but the staff's hospitality truly makes it a pleasant place to stay. Would love to stay here again!

    Maximum Stay

    After 7 years, I stayed again. Since my daughter and I were attending an event at Toranomon Hills, we checked into Andaz Hotel. We were warmly welcomed with a smooth check-in process and even got upgraded to the Sky Suite! Our family was thrilled, so we invited my sister and niece from nearby to enjoy a luxurious room service dinner together. It was such a delightful evening. Everything felt luxurious, and as the female manager mentioned, we could see the sunrise in the morning for the first time from a hotel—it was truly moving. Seeing Tokyo Tower below us and Tokyo's night view amazed my daughter, creating unforgettable memories. That same day, my second-grade daughter wrote a thank-you letter to that female manager and handed it over. The next morning when we woke up, there was already a reply waiting for her! The letter was written entirely in hiragana with colorful touches—such thoughtful hospitality left us deeply impressed by Andaz’s unique personal touch. My daughter was overjoyed by this unexpected response. Breakfast included perfect Eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, and omelets—all flawless—and the staff were excellent as well. From pool tour assistance to checkout services to bellboy support—everything deserved full marks! I definitely want to stay here again; it was such an amazing experience that I highly recommend it!

    It was a long-awaited stay in the Deluxe Room.

    I had a wonderful stay and particularly enjoyed the following three points: 1. The room faced east, offering a panoramic view from Otemachi to the Bay Area. I woke up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning scenery from dawn to sunrise. 2. The Andaz Lounge for guests provided alcohol and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. For those who are satisfied with light drinks and snacks, this lounge is more than enough. The music and lighting in the lounge were also impeccable. Although I initially made a reservation for the lobby lounge at the back, I was so satisfied with my experience that I canceled it. However, during my stay, there was DJ performance at the lobby lounge, creating an excellent atmosphere as well. 3. The pool was spacious and well-maintained with several types of jacuzzis including heated ones available. Perhaps by chance, it wasn’t crowded during my visit, allowing me to fully enjoy it. One minor issue occurred when I requested a BD player be set up in my room at the time of reservation but found it missing upon arrival. However, after notifying staff about this matter, they promptly addressed it without any problem. Maintaining such high standards for facility maintenance and customer service must require tremendous effort. Staying at accommodations of this grade is not easy for me financially; however, I've now set a goal to return again someday in the future—and would be deeply grateful if warmly welcomed once more on that occasion!

    Since it is a top brand of the Hyatt Group, I had high expectations for the accompanying service. Starting with the negative points, at check-in, the reservation plan was incorrectly registered. The explanation was that a double bed with an extra bed and breakfast was registered as a twin with no breakfast. After the mistake was discovered, the room was prepared, so the extra bed was added later, and we had to request the missing amenities afterward. Furthermore, the price offered did not reflect the discount from Ikkyu, and when I pointed this out, the Asian woman did not understand, so she brought someone else who explained that "it is not displayed in the system." It was harsh to make someone unfamiliar explain this. I think there will be more people using Ikkyu in the future, so if it can't be displayed soon, it will lead to unnecessary trouble again. I believe each hotel staff member is doing their best, but there was no explanation of the room facilities, and when I called to ask if I could choose a newspaper, I was told, "I will check if it is a holiday," and after waiting 20 seconds, the call was transferred to bell service to resolve it. It would have been better if they had asked at check-in, and I wonder if it was necessary to check for a holiday on the following Sunday. When I tried to go out around 6:15 a.m. and asked for an umbrella at the front desk, they accompanied me to the car porch on the first floor and lent me one. However, when heading to the subway station, the elevator did not go down, and the escalator shutters were closed, so I exited from the opposite side and went clockwise around the building. When I returned and mentioned this at the front desk, they said to go through the residence, but since it was labeled as a residence, I hesitated to enter. Since they knew I was going out, I think there should have been guidance on this point. The previous day, I also asked for the location of the confectionery section, but although they said to go out the door, there were no guide signs, making it hard to understand. The entire Toranomon Hills has guide signs that prioritize design, making them hard to understand. During the lounge's cocktail time, there were not enough seats, so many people were standing and waiting. If it were a standing style, it might clear up. Good points: The bathtub was spacious and relaxing. The breakfast at the Tavern was of good quality and delicious. However, while the foreign guests at the next table received an explanation of the menu, we were only left with the menu. I felt that the thoroughness of the explanation varied depending on the hotel staff. Toranomon Hills, especially from the subway, is very hard to understand, so I think guidance to compensate for that is necessary.

    There was something disappointing at the very end...

    We stayed at Andaz for two nights with my family after a long time, as it has been 10 years since it opened. We really liked it when we stayed there right after it opened, and for the first three years, we stayed there many times. However, after several disappointing experiences during and after check-out, we haven't visited at all for the past seven years. I love the atmosphere of the rooms, the food, the spa, and the pool more than any other luxury hotel in Tokyo, but the disappointment after check-out was exactly the same this time after seven years. When I inserted the parking card at the gate to take out the car parked in the basement, it displayed a charge for three days even though the payment was already completed! Since the parking is managed separately by Toranomon Hills, they can't handle it on the spot, so we had to park the car again and return to Andaz on the 51st floor. The structure of Toranomon Hills doesn't allow a direct route from the parking lot to the 51st floor of Andaz. (This is common in luxury hotels in Tokyo, isn't it?) The process of taking several elevators to return to the 51st floor is quite frustrating. This happened not only this time but also a few years ago, which made me even more disappointed when I remembered it. Why did such a hassle have to occur at the very end of a wonderful three-day stay?! Doesn't this happen regularly? Is it just a coincidence that the exact same mistake happened to us?

    It was my first hote...

    It was my first hotel reservation after registering with Ikyu.com... We had an amazing experience during check-in. We were upgraded to a suite room. The reason was because we are premium members of IKOU.COM. It was my first reservation after becoming a member, and I was very happy to have such an experience, and I remember it as a special memory in Tokyo.

    A bit disappointing

    I booked a city view room and also used the restaurant and bar. The overall atmosphere and the restaurant were nice, but the room's design and interior were disappointing. Given that there are many more stylish places in Tokyo, it was a letdown. Additionally, there was a lack of explanation, making it difficult to understand how to use the room. The lounge also felt a bit sloppy. It's quite noisy as well. The service wasn't bad, but I felt it didn't match the price. If you want to enjoy a nice time with a night view, just using the restaurant or bar might be enough. However, the mattress was firm and comfortable for us.
