Hotel Crown Palais Hamamatsu

Regarding my stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hamamatsu on October 16, 2023, I entered the room and opened the curtain of the small window, only to be surprised by the wall of the adjacent building being within arm's reach. I went down to the lobby floor to find a place for dinner and asked a passing staff member about nearby restaurants, but I was surprised to see a hotel staff member who didn't stop walking while having a conversation. In comparison, this time at Hotel Crown Palais Hamamatsu, the reception response was good, the facilities were a bit old but well-cleaned, and I was given a room on the 12th floor with a view extending to the distant Enshu Nada, allowing me to spend a comfortable two days. I remember the accommodation fee being about the same as the previous hotel, but it's surprising how different it can be even with Ikkyu.

I booked early for the Hamamatsu Festival. It was in a perfect location with a great view of the festival events from the room. In the evening, we didn't travel by car due to traffic restrictions, but I thought it was considerate that parking was available nearby for 1,000 yen per day. The building is a bit old, and there were some worn-out areas on the carpet in the guest room corridors, but nothing else bothered me. The towels were of high quality and new, so I used them comfortably. Although it was in front of the station, the soundproofing was well done, and I wasn't disturbed by the sound of the trumpet corps, allowing me to rest well at night. The hotel breakfast, priced at 1,980 yen, included local seafood on the menu, which I thought was good value for money. The staff provided very detailed explanations about the festival and meal congestion times, allowing us to have a meaningful time.
