First-time stay, the hotel is located right in front of the sea, making it convenient to swim with children. Both the pool on the seaside of the hotel and the beach have lifeguards, ensuring safety. Breakfast offers a choice of three styles, but for those who find it slightly lacking, you can enjoy a buffet at a partner accommodation "Kariyushi Beach Resort Ocean Spa" (located on a hill 10 minutes away by foot or accessible by car) for an additional 600 yen per person (payment on-site with breakfast voucher). There are two locations available; one near the poolside offers great views and a refreshing atmosphere. The accommodation provides reception services for various events, most of which depart from this location. A Lawson convenience store is adjacent to the property for added convenience. In the evening, you can enjoy food and drinks at tables and chairs set up under a roof next to the beach. The staff are very polite, and rooms are clean with attentive housekeeping services. The location is 20 minutes from Nago City, 60 minutes from Naha City, and 35 minutes from Jungleia. Our family took a 1-night, 2-day trip to the Shakotan Peninsula in Hokkaido with one main goal: to enjoy great seafood. Lately, rather than a luxury Ryokan with extensive Facility offerings, we’ve been drawn to food-focused Ryokan that truly take their cuisine seriously—and for this trip, our only criterion was simply “we want to eat outstanding seafood.” In that sense, Oyado Shinsei exceeded our expectations. Dinner featured more dishes and seafood than we could possibly finish. The boat platter—packed with sea urchin and salmon roe in small bowls, line-caught tuna, sea squirt, botan shrimp, and more—was spectacular. The flavor was clearly on another level from the sashimi we usually eat. Our whole family kept saying “This is delicious” again and again as we enjoyed it. We were so focused on eating at dinner that we didn’t take any photos, but there were also grilled fish caught that morning, fried items, a rockfish hot pot (soi nabe), and more—each dish genuinely tasty from start to finish without ever feeling repetitive. Breakfast was just as satisfying: a small bowl of sea urchin, sashimi, simmered fish, local delicacies you don’t often see elsewhere, handmade sesame tofu (goma-dofu), and miso soup made with freshly harvested wakame—all perfect with rice. The portions were generous; still, it was so good that we finished everything. (Breakfast photo attached.) The Accommodation is spotless—from the Room to the shared washbasins and toilets—making it very comfortable throughout our stay. The cypress bath is compact but gentle on the skin and wonderfully warming (it’s not an Onsen as noted by the property, but it was more than satisfying). The staff seemed primarily family-run; everyone was friendly and kind with thoughtful attention to detail. We felt comfortable the entire time—it’s an Accommodation that gives you a reassuring “back home” feeling. Given this level of food quality and variety at this price point, it felt exceptionally fair value. We stayed during Golden Week this time, but we’d love to return in another season to enjoy different flavors of Shakotan again.

This was my first stay. I stayed the night before visiting Oshiba Island. It seems to have been a love hotel in the past, but now it is a regular hotel. There is no strange atmosphere, so you can use it with peace of mind. The facility is old but well-cleaned. I stayed in a room with a bathtub on the terrace, and the view was amazing!! From sunset to sunrise, I could enjoy the beautiful Seto Inland Sea, and it was truly wonderful. I initially thought about walking to a nearby drive-in for meals, but since the view was so spectacular, I found convenience store food more than satisfying. This hotel offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended before it becomes too popular! I would love to stay here again when visiting nearby. If possible to improve: The outdoor unit of the air conditioner is on the terrace side, so its noise can be bothersome. While it's quiet if you don't use air conditioning, that's difficult during hot weather these days. Also, please consider upgrading the mattress for better comfort!

The washing machine was not securely fixed, which caused the spin cycle to take longer, and the bathroom dryer timer could only be set for one hour. Other than that, everything was excellent. I appreciated the prompt response to my request for additional cooking utensils. It would be great if the provided pot were slightly larger. I would love to stay here again!

Stayed for a multiple night stay and had a comfortable experience. *Highlights:* 1. Accommodation allows large dogs, and they can move freely indoors (no need for cages). 2. Well-equipped kitchen for self-catering (various utensils, cutlery, cookware provided; bring your own seasonings). 3. Separate toilet and bath. 4. Equipped with air conditioning, TV, washing machine, and vacuum cleaner. 5. Bedding included (we only used the mattress and slept in our own sleeping bags). 6. Clean interior with no odors; quiet surroundings allowed for a relaxing stay. 7. Pet supplies provided in the accommodation. *Concerns:* 1. Many mosquitoes around the building made it difficult to have a barbecue outside. 2. Entrance from the road was hard to find and easy to miss. 3. The detergent compartment of the washing machine was moldy, making cleaning it quite challenging before use.

We stayed with two dogs. The staff's service before check-in was excellent, allowing for a smooth check-in process. The view from the accommodation was oceanfront, providing a relaxing and soothing experience. We enjoyed island walks, gourmet food, and fishing using the accommodation as our base. It has become a place we definitely want to stay at again.

Despite staying during the busiest season, the accommodation provided very flexible and prompt services such as early check-in and same-day BBQ equipment rental. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy an amazing BBQ while admiring the beautiful scenery. The pool was clean with hardly any insects floating, making it pleasant to swim even in the morning. Additionally, the refrigerator was stocked with beer, juice, and tea—such thoughtful hospitality! Shopping was convenient as there were supermarkets, convenience stores, and a Daiso near Sesoko Island Bridge. Although I had seen reviews mentioning "many insects" and was a bit worried beforehand, there were almost none in reality. Measures like insect repellents and sprays were well-prepared, providing a sense of security. At night, we could see an incredible view of stars! The only minor inconvenience was having to use stone stairs when carrying luggage from the parking lot—it was slightly challenging. However, even considering that small issue, our stay was absolutely satisfying. This place has made it onto my list of "places I want to visit again"!

At check-in, the staff kindly provided information about nearby supermarkets and other shops, which was very helpful for buying ingredients for our BBQ. The property is located in an area lined with luxurious villas and features a garage where we could park our car with peace of mind, as well as a pool and sauna. It was so well designed that we wished we could own a villa like this just as it is. Our 2 nights and 3 days went by in no time, so next time we would definitely like to stay for 3 nights.

In the midst of this extreme heat, Hiruzen felt like a completely different world—cool and incredibly comfortable. The nights were around 20°C, which felt like heaven for us coming from the tropical nights of the city. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace while watching the sunset and spent our evening around a campfire under a starry sky (all necessary tools provided for just 500 yen). There were few insects, and the surroundings were peaceful, offering truly relaxing moments. The dome tent was equipped with excellent air conditioning and included a shower and toilet. Amenities were plentiful, including makeup remover and skincare products—a thoughtful touch for women. Coffee, tea, wine glasses, and even a wine opener were also provided. With breathtaking views of Mt. Daisen in an idyllic location, we had breakfast on the terrace in refreshing morning breezes. Every moment was filled with relaxation and awe. We would love to visit again!

I stayed for one night with a friend. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, knitting while watching dramas, and spending time at a relaxed pace surrounded by nature! The cabin was well-equipped with various utensils and seasonings, which was very convenient. Additionally, the distance from neighboring cabins allowed us to enjoy our stay without worrying about others. I would love to visit other SANU locations as well!

We stayed at the cottage! It’s perfect for two people! There’s a convenience store and restaurants right in front, making it an excellent location! The stay was affordable and great! We’d love to stay here again!

I stayed with my brother's family. The Room had two bedrooms and one tatami room, and one of the tatami rooms and bedrooms was a connecting room separated by a door, so we could watch over the children sleeping alone with peace of mind. Additionally, there was a jacuzzi on the terrace, and although we used it on the coldest day in December, the children were having a great time with maximum excitement (laughs). The living room on the second floor was spacious, and even with eight people, it didn't feel cramped, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. Also, it was convenient to have bathrooms and toilets on both the first and second floors. Personally, the most helpful feature was having a washing machine and dryer. The gas dryer, in particular, was very convenient as it allowed us to quickly take care of the children's clothes without taking much time. Basic appliances were provided, but since there were no pajamas, it might be a good idea to bring your own (as indicated on the site). The surroundings were quite empty, and although it was along the road, we were able to spend our time relatively quietly, allowing the adults to relax while the children had a great time playing on the terrace and in the spacious living room. My brother's family also expressed their gratitude, so I was glad we stayed. Since it can accommodate a large group, I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

Even though pet-friendly places often have animal smells or dirty rooms, the room was incredibly clean, and the water areas, kitchen, and entrance were all kept spotless, which was truly wonderful. Right after arrival, we had a BBQ and enjoyed the sunset together, and both the children and elderly parents were very satisfied. The night view from the bath and room was also beautiful, and we want to use it every year. We will definitely make a reservation again, so we hope the level of cleanliness does not decline.

This was my first stay at Sunset Resort Kanpu, and it exceeded my expectations. The property is located on a hill with an oceanfront view, providing a full tropical experience. The convenience store attached to the property is highly rated. It's just a 3-minute drive to the Churaumi Aquarium. I was initially concerned about the check-in process being at an unmanned front desk, but communication via video call was possible, and they assured me that assistance is available 24/7 by phone if needed. Security is excellent; only guests can enter at night as the lobby doors are locked and require a passcode for entry, which adds peace of mind. The room I stayed in was very clean with a comfortable bed, offering plenty of tropical vibes—a relaxing space that felt like having a vacation home in Okinawa. The view from the window was breathtaking, especially during sunset—it became an unforgettable memory. The kitchen had all necessary dishes for cooking, making long stays convenient for self-catering without any issues. What delighted me were the washing machine and dryer, two bathrooms, and two toilets—everything you could need! Even large families would feel no stress here—this earns high points indeed. As it's a condominium-style property without daily housekeeping services, having well-equipped appliances makes up for it perfectly. For this trip's meals: dinner was eaten out while breakfast came from the convenience store; however there’s also Starbucks within five minutes' walk away along with creative Italian dining two minutes away plus Hawaiian restaurants & several izakayas nearby too! Later I realized Sunset Resort Kanpu offers delivery breakfasts from "Mokulele," famous in Motobu Town (missed opportunity...) featuring French toast or fruit sandwiches delivered right to your room (unfortunately not this time...). Overall Sunset Resort Kanpu proved itself as an amazing place worth revisiting—and one I'd recommend wholeheartedly to friends looking for resorts!

Over the New Year holiday, my parents-in-law and we as a couple traveled all the way to Okinawa and stayed for 2 nights as a group of four. The check-in and check-out terminal操作 was smooth. During our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy quality family time. We bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked in the Room kitchen, and there were more than enough cooking utensils and tableware—nothing to complain about. My parents-in-law were also very happy, so I’m glad we chose this place to stay. We’d love to stay here again when we have the chance.

New and clean, with a shower booth instead of a bathtub, but still very nice. The toilet is spacious and comfortable. I would like to use it again next time. However, if you set the navigation by phone, it will direct you to the operator's Onsen, so make sure to set it for Culture Village instead.
