I stayed with my mother. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and we finished everything! The bath left our skin feeling smooth and refreshed! Located in a residential area, it’s perfect for those who want to enjoy great food and relaxing hot baths rather than scenic views.

I chose this accommodation after reading reviews because I love fish. The location near Yugawara Station is very convenient, just about a 5-minute walk. The open-air bath attached to the room uses natural hot spring water, so it was quite hot at first (haha). I also enjoyed the private rooftop open-air bath twice—it was very relaxing. Even though it rained, both the private and in-room open-air baths had coverings, so I didn’t get wet while soaking in the tub. The meals were delightful with plenty of fish dishes! We even got to enjoy a sashimi boat platter for two! The abalone was delicious as well, but we found the sauce on the grilled lobster a bit too oily for our taste (probably because we’re older; others might not find it an issue). All of the staff had wonderful smiles. Both those at reception and those assisting during meals were kind, polite, and attentive—it made us want to stay here again. Although there’s no elevator and you can sense some age in the building itself, everything was clean and well-maintained for a comfortable stay. Later on, I noticed that there were cute fish embroideries on the towels—such attention to detail shows their love for fish (haha). I’d love to visit again during another season!
