Shingu UI Hotel

I stayed with breakfast and dinner included, and was able to stay at a reasonable price as a stopover during my trip. I was satisfied with the meals as well. The amenities were the bare essentials, which was enough. I rated the bath 4 stars only because it was a unit bath with the toilet, but there were no particular issues. I brought my own drinks, but before check-in there were tea bags and coffee available for use with the in-room kettle. I ended up having about four cups in one night by myself, so when they told me at reception to “help yourself,” I was tired and it made me really happy! The staff member who assisted at dinner served us with a warm smile, which made me feel relaxed. For checkout, you return the card key by putting it into a box system—very smooth for business travelers. Since I’m not used to staying overnight often, I did say thank you, but I found myself thinking how modern (or maybe it’s always been this way?) it is. Thank you very much.

The Room was a standard twin. It had the basic amenities, and while it is a little far from the station, some of the sidewalks were rough when walking with a suitcase. I think it’s a convenient base for sightseeing. I was able to get around to the main spots on foot.
